Thesame mistake will not be allowed again. And because of the affiliation with Yoruba, Tinubu sees Benin as a Nigerian state out of the borders of Nigeria. Benin has a stable govt and the present President is not doing bad to warrant this. I support any intervention by the President to restore democratic normalcy in Benin republic!

Judea and Samaria (also called West Bank) is the most strategic place for Israel to annex because it is a mountainous area which overseas the whole length and breadth of other parts of Israel. Anybody that controls that area easily pick and attack any target in Israel.
Israel is able to monitor a lot of the surrounding neigbhours e.g. Jordan from the mountains in that area.
Also, the land in that areas is much bigger than in Gaza.

Gaza will give Israel more access to the sea. Compared to Gaza, West Bank is a more peaceful region administratively. So far there's mutual understanding and recognition of the independence of the two states there won't be any problem. West Bank will just be another neutral country like Jordan.

Only yorubas can do this. The most religiously matured tribe in Nigeria.

If you understand the geography of that area, it is better for Israel to annex Gaza than West Bank. A two state solution with the West Bank left as an independent state of its own is the best road to some semblance of permanent peace.

With the current security situation in the country I doubt they would have won it especially in the North. Lagos, Port Harcourt or Uyo should have been nominated as the host not Abuja. The bid committee didn't do well for Nigeria.
