it simply means betting on opposite options so as to guarantee profit regardless of the outcome of the match. For example if you stake 1k on over 2.5 on a match at maybe 2.40 odds, and two goals are scored in 30 minutes. You can rush to inplay and you would see that the odds for over 2.5 would have dropped to maybe 1.2 while under 2.5 will have increased to 3 odds or so. You can then stake 1k also on under 2.5 so that regardless of how the match ends, you will make a little profit. The gurus in the house will give you better examples.
