Mate avoid keeping your LONG on EU over the weekend, if the eu closes near or above 1.3210  expect gap down.

markets is waiting for the FOMC announcement at the end of its two-day meeting soon. also federal Reserve will publish for the first time underlying forecasts of the Fed Funds rates from FOMC members. Chairman Bernanke’s, press confrence will follow. news German Ifo Business Climate, news on Italian Retail Sales m/m, uk BBA Mortgage Approvals, uk index of Services 3m/3m, CBI Industrial Order Expectations much for the market to digest.

everyday must not be a good trading day rather what happens is the pips u have gathered hw much of it were u able to retain. Poor EU.

Any pull back on GU is an opportunity to enter long today while any rally on Eu is an opportunity to enter short today but there wouldnt be too much movement on GU

Why did you TP now? You just missed a huge portion of the meal. You should ve taken profit and enter long again on retracement.

2985 on H4 may stand as support. Its all bulls' ride till 3100-3400 and i'm loving every bit of it. Join me all and lets smile to the bank together.

Am trading strictly on a signal here and the signal is always very sure of minimum of 50 pip it could be more.  i decided to plan my trade on 50 pip daily.  actual i usually make 95pip on this 50pip target. but if i said 95pip earlier on my entry, u might not understand from 1.2920 to 1.2970.
here is my strategy of achieving the 95pip on 50pip target:

i enter 3 trade at a time.
(1) Buy 1.2920 tp @ 1.2935 =15pip
(2)Buy 1.2920 tp @ 1.2950 =30pip
(2)Buy 1.2920 tp @ 1.2970 =50pip.

that is how i usually achieve my 95pip daily.

but note, you have to be 80% sure of the direction before you enter this trade as you will understand if u go wrong you will lose x3 of your stop loss.  you could see my first post at around 10.26pm last night. i have to understand what the GAP could bring before decided on what to trade.  as u all know the trade mark " plan your trade and trade your plan"  discipline is the key in forex, i have to take my tp @1.2970 and allow the Big boys to ride on the market.

market is getting ready to kick start for the week. does anyone think the EU & GU will continue north. as for me if the market open without Gap, i will enter long. otherwise i be on sideline till around 6am before placing any trade.

Here are my trades for the week.

The first one was a loss. Oaid a price for ignoring the fundamentals for the EURUSD.

No. 2 was a strictly fundamental play. With the threat of an oil shutdown in Nigeria, crude started to edge up on Friday, pulling along the Canadian dollar with it. So this was a straightforward Rise/Fall trade with a 3 day expiration.

No. 3 was another great trade for the AUD, which was helped by some positive news coming out of China. China and Australia are located in the Oceania region, and China is a huge trade partner of Australia. Good news from China = Gain in AUD. Another straightforward call, but I had to put just a 2-hour expiration as most of the move was almost complete before we woke up in this part of the world. In addition, the chart pattern was a bullish one. A good Rise/Fall trade here.

No. 4 is a Touch/No Touch trade which has a minimum of 7 days expiration. I bet on a No Touch as I did not see gold going below the spot price at the time. There is a lot of risk in the market and so we can only expect gold buying at this time, not selling. With 2 days left, this trade looks set to be in the money.

No. 5 looks destined to be a loser. I foolishly decided to keep a 1-day expiration instead of 2 hours as I did for AUDUSD. If I had set a 2hr expiration, that trade would have been in the money. But alas, a reversal is in the works and I won't be able to make it.

The lesson here:

1) Pay attention to fundamentals.
2) WATCH YOUR EXPIRATION TIMES! A faulty expiration setting can turn a winner into a loser.
3) Use chart patterns to determine the price action of the asset you are trading. A good source is Autochartist, which not only shows you the chart pattern but tells you how long that pattern will be at work in the market.

I don`t know too but if you have been following you will notice that every 100 pages is the end of a season and the next page will make the next season, so we have reached 300 pages marking the end of season 3 so another new count is open called season 4 and 100 pages of this season 4 will mark the end of season 4 and next will be Forex Trade Alert- Season 5
