Bros, CoP deal has been consumated. I just read the news on broadstreetlagos but I can't post the link cos am post with Nokia 3310.
I just hope Oando go enter fast lane tommorror ooooooo....
Dancing Azonto.

Elai147: Yes, they extended it till Nov 30th. But what if Oando is unable to meet up with this new deadline? I hope there is room for more extension in such case. Because any attempt for Oando to terminate the deal the way dem terminate Brass LNG agreement with COP, the tin go rofo rofo o.. Anyway, vigilante mode activated on COP deal.

Oando Energy Resources(OER), an affiliate company of Oando PLC, focused on oil exploration and production in Nigeria, has expressed confidence in concluding the acquisition of the Nigerian oil and gas business of ConocoPhillips (COP). The corporate affairs department of the company made his statement, refuting a wire service report that the deal had already been concluded.

OER had paid COP an initial deposit of US$435 million and the net purchase price payable to complete the acquisition of the remaining assets associated with the COP Acquisition is estimated to be approximately US$1.22 billion. To conclude the deal, OER has also received commitment letters for up to US$815 million of bank credit facilities, with US$465 million drawn from Reserve Based Lending Facility, internationally placed and led by BNP Paribas, Standard Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank; and a US$350 million Senior Secured Loan, jointly arranged locally in Nigeria, by FBN Capital and FCMB Capital Markets.

“Maximizing value for our shareholders is our ultimate goal, and through optimal financing we remain determined to conclude the COP Acquisition as soon as possible and increase our market share and infrastructure within the sector,” said Pade Durotoye, CEO of Oando Energy Resources.

Once the deal is concluded, OER’s daily production will substantially increase from 4,500 bpd to 45,000 bpd, and will place the company as the largest indigenous producer behind the International Oil Companies (IOCs). The acquisition also paves the way for other indigenous companies to address operational boundaries within Nigeria and position themselves as global players, thus providing unprecedented opportunities for local and international investors to invest in Nigeria.

pls how do i check with cscs date and amount the stock was sold. thank u very much 4 ur quick response.

i use to click on the stock sold/purchase and it will show date - description -qty/volume -unit price i think it only show for some time like 5 days or so after which it will disappear. so it good to check immediately your stock sold/bought.

fatalitho: good evening my ogas pls. i need advice and explanation on dis issue. i gave a sell order last week Thursday 26-09-2013 on okomu @ #48.05,usually i don't. receive alerts but on dis occasion I received alert today Thursday 03-10-2013 dat it was sold @ #41.52 today closing price pls wat can I do. pls very urgent because I'm going there tomorrow morning to make. trouble. Thank u.

may be your order did not carried out until today. if you register with cscs, first try to cross check on it to see the details on date and amount the stock is being sold before going to your stock broker.
if the detail is correct. i think the only question u need to ask ur broker is why it took them 5 days to sell your okomu oil
