zendi:
The brent surge was attacked by profit takers over the night.
And that poured cold water on Oando.
But brent is fighting back right this moment, and Oando is likely to close strong.
As simple as that to me.
People trade Oando, Seplat....with one eye on brent.
true that !
brent above $50 is way a major plus for dem and all Oil related NPL's

Our Oil Minister was on Bloomberg and CNBC this am! Interesting outlook
-The oil banter is positive from all quarters.
-A $55- $60 range not bad
-Sadly Emefiele will have more gun powder to defend its stupid fx policy but overall
-Oil above $50 is most welcomed going into Jan 2017 for equities

ETI
- looking at d ETI weekly chart
- bottom alert with long term positive divergence developing
- interesting history
- past 5 - 7 years , its crosses N20 (April 2010 and June 2015) meets resistance and bleeds back to N9 - N10 region
- SP finds some psychological long term support ard here before heading back to N20 region after a long while.
- Dec 2012 (SP N10 region ) to June 2015 (SP crossed N20 region) to ffwd today (SP back at N9 - N10 region)
- its finding that support again, just keep watching
- for long term ETI people (BUY and HOLD investors type ohh), this is your very long term entry point range

Disclosure
No major or minor holdings in ETI ohh, i'm not good with buy and hold strategy

Just send email to registrars@cardinalstone.com request for the e-dividend form........when you get their response, you will need to print out the downloadable form which they sent to you.....you fill it,take it to your bank to endorse then email it back to them wit a copy of your colour passport attach to it and a valid id card. After 2 weeks, they will send you a message that they have mandated your e-dividend to your bank account.......This process is for us that just bought fcmb expecting dividend next year to drop in our bank account.

if you already have stocks and you need them to credit your outstanding dividends.......you will need to add the bankers confirmation while sending the form to them but your bank will charge you btw 2,500 and 5,000.........or you can go to your broker and process the transfer forms with them.....it is free but a very long thing(2 to 3 months)

brothers........mine is done......tnx
Many thanks

@fxuser I believe diamond will 1.50 before sept next year. and also FCMB will hit below 1naira soon...meanwhile do u av any pick for anyone?
Diamond
-Sept 2019 is very very very far ! Anything is possible
- Enough uncertainties lie ahead
- d economic quagmire is eunf wahala going into 2017Q1

FCMB
- unlike diamond, fcmb is not even on d global $NGE ETF Index or the NSE banking index 10
- however looking at d chart its found some level of support ard N1.00 (remember FBNH ard d +/-N3.00)
- buyers (or men in black) seem to turn up ard dat region for now
- but nothing is impossible lets wait and see

My Recommendation
- to have cash at all times, this buhari economy is a one major mine field

Diamond (finally join Fidelity below N1.00)
- its been a bloody journey from N7.45 high in Jan 2014 (the 5 year high, ending a bull run)
- was looking closely at d 5 yr weekly , monthly chart, interesting stuff
- been trading over 200m units monthly in the past few months
- looks like accumulation mode (pls dont ask why, dont know)
- August 375m units , sept 469m units , Oct 348m units , Nov 241m units, DecTD 338m units (while sp making lower lows oh)
- its like a market maker just hold basket de collect the sell off
- interesting to see how sentiments play out before new year !
- there is a positive divergence as macd keeps making higher lows while SP is making lower lows but still under d zero line !
- the bears have squeezed all d blood here , its just rechecking to see if there is anyone left #wicked lol

6 naira is been realistic . or what u think ?
i avoid price fixation, i simply ff sentiments

my thots
- FBN has been on a bearish path for years
- it enjoyed a rally prior to 2013 high when it crossed N20
- since then , its been on a bearish move , making lower highs & lows
- the death cross happened ard August 2013 (50ema crossed below 200ema)
- the SP has been testing the 50ema line but not finding enuf support and failing
- this happned in May and June when the price tested N4.50 levels , each time the sellers came in massively
- it test N3 and march and found good support but failed at N4.50
- then in August it came back to that support and for weeks buyers kept resurfacing ard that region confirming further support (BUY area)
- ffwd to dec , SP for the first time in months is testing N3.50 , breaking above 50ema and tending towards 200ema which is good for long term buyers. (this is the low they shud hav waited for)
- before N6.00 , the real test is ard N4.50
note that many are carrying losses and they just wish to stop d portfolio bleeding, so expect a lot of emotional resistance ard that point, IF the SP can break through N4.50 , the next stop is N7.00 for another test.
