I use price action too but I'm not a graduate of baby pips yet
av been sticking to swing points, resistance/support level and trend line to make entries and it works for me unless the market is ranging or consolidating.
I know how to identify morning stars and evening stars, tweezers top and bottom, engulfing bar , pin bars and shooting star etc.
I think my main problem now is how to make entries when the market isn't trending. because some times after e pass my resistance level on impulse movement and I go place trade, the retracement ehn, na till e hit my SL.
I'm thinking of working with 15mins time frame for rangers.
but I don't like anything scalping

Don't doubt your strategy if it works for you. Some traders in forexfactory forum are bullish for gold.

I am still bearish biased in gold. There was a price rejection at 1765
with a break of monthly support at 175x

We might see price at 16xx by next week.

Concerning patience babypips said: You get a chicken by hatching an egg not by smashing it.

Hatching takes days or weeks which requires patience. Smashing which is instant doesn't give you any chicken (profits) but losses.

The question I wish to ask is how do you stay for weeks or months without trading waiting for the right setup? For me I feel bored and making trades often lead to losses.

If this question can be tackled, it would be a nice development.

What activities do you carry out in those periods?

I made more research on this question as it's all about how to develop patience in trading. There are so many resourceful videos and sites/blogs that treated it.

I came across a blog which I found useful. In a nutshell if you are given an opportunity of making a guaranteed #100 000 in a month by trading just 3 days in a month and another opportunity of trading 15 days in a month and making average of #5000. Which of them would you prefer?
