Politics / Biafra; The Parable Of A Country by Fyno: 6:35pm On May 31, 2017
The Parable of the Country

And when the war ended, the victors sat down to share the spoils. One region got the oil wells and the other region got the foreign companies.

The vanquished region got two sets of gifts. While some got £20 each, others got to keep the houses in their own part of the vanquished region belongings to those who got £20.

After six years, those who got £20 started to build multi-storey houses in their part of the vanquished region. One town in the region cornered the pharmaceutical industry, another transportation and automotive spare parts, another town took the electronics and electrical market, yet another took the textiles market and another the building materials market. Now the vanquished control all these markets in the entire continental sub-region and beyond. God indeed blessed his own people and they prospered.

Those who got oil wells and the foreign companies accused those who lost their houses and got £20 of being ritualists. As for those who got the houses belonging to those who got £20, one protested vehemently and was hanged by those who got the oil wells, as most of the oil wells are in that region of the vanquished who got the houses belonging to the vanquished who got £20.

Those who got the oil wells also got to keep power and government, inviting those who got the foreign companies to share the privileges and appurtenances thereof from time to time. They shared the revenue from the oil wells to the exclusion of those who got £20 and those who got the houses belonging to those who got £20.

Because the victors got the government and power, they also created all forms of schemes and devices to enrich themselves and slow the growth and development of the vanquished. They even made these schemes provisions in the constitution.

However, the vanquished who got only £20 still continued to prosper, producing many billionaires, authors, artists, scientists, sportspeople, distinguished professors, erudite jurists, medical professionals, lawyers and stubborn agitators. Whatsoever those who got £20 touched prospered. Like the Hebrews in Egypt, the vanquished are like the Army of Locusts.

Now, those who got £20 want to leave the country. Even the agitation has prospered in its vehemence. But those who got the oil wells and the foreign companies are opposing them.

Remember that the victors have the oil wells and the foreign companies. The victors also got the government and power. The vanquished got only £20 and lost their houses.

Now, what does the victors want? Probably human blood. They drank from over 2 million bodies of the vanquished before the war ended, and they have been drinking periodically even since. They recently drank from over 150 of the vanquished.

And that is the Parable of a Country.

The senate is unfortunately constituting itself into a clog in the wheel of progress. Obasanjo privatised those refineries during the tail end of his administration but some unscrupulous elements advised Yar'ardua to cancel the privatization. If the Obasanjo era privatisation had stand, our refining capacity would have since improve by now but we missed that opportunity.

Another opportunity is here again to get things right and the same unscrupulous elements are using the senate to frustrate it. Eni and Oando are well established and credible players in the oil sector and if they have both committed to revamping the moribund refinery and increasing its refining capacity, I don't get why the senate is desperate to frustrate the deal.

Again, we now have a minister who is so committed to ensuring that we stop importation of petroleum products in the next two years. The success of this Port Harcourt refinery concession is very key to achieving that target. If the senate succeeds in killing this deal again, we should prepare for many more years of petroleum importation with all the problems that comes with it.
the Senate as an institution may not be perfect but their are still men of substance there
What they are only asking is for transparency and due process in the concessions.

If this concessions fails tomorrow, you will be the first person to still blame the Senate for not doing their Job

Nigeria's North, Biafra & Oduduwa.
While the Yoruba have craftly postioned themselves in all the key-points of the nation's economic command and control under the Change gov't of # Buhari in order to pave way for their total economic independence that will catapult silence political restructuring and final disengagement from the Colonial contraption that held the nation for over half a century, yet not unmindful of the probability of Presidential power being bequeathed to enable them achieve their
# Oduduwa Republic in the long run.
The Igbo are busy playing the victim of 1967 three years civil war they kick-started, they are now dessiminating the " # Biafra (n)" propagandic utopia of disengaging from the Federation through street protests and blackmail of other regions and threats while the # Arewa (North) are busy hailing and praising the Change gov't because Buhari hails from the North even though his economic policies are almost not North-friendly but anti-North policies inherited from OBJ and GEJ tenures, the two years of Buhari's gov't has given an economic dead-blow to the Arewa economy to the advantage of the South(West), yet the Northerners are suffering and smiling, braying the usual "sai baba" at the top of the vocal organs, from all indications, the merger is going to be a win-win to the SouthWest, with economy at their finger-tips and Presidency on their laps, read the silent drum and watch the dance rythme.

Believe it or not,the struggle has never been this serious .....

It takes something serious to make an average Igbo man boycott his business but more than 70% of living things in south East were having fun at home!

What an effective way of civil disobedience

Just wish other southerners will tell themselves the truth so this Fulani's will be reasonable and at least restructure this countr..…

Politics / Re: Abia Govt Blasts Nkechi Nwaogu Who Called Abia "A Failed State Under PDP" by Fyno: 12:24pm On Feb 02, 2017
NKECHI was the worst senator Abia ever produced. His senatorial district is the worst in terms of infrastructural decay,She was hated by the people and never won elections, always rigging herself in through PDP.

Defecting to APC is always expected but turning back to criticize PDP shows that all CRIMINALS IN PDP ARE NOW IN APC and that is why they want to turn Nigeria into a one party state.

NKECHI, if PDP failed Abia, that means you failed Abia too,I knew Kamalu street and how bad it was before Okezie ikpezu constructed it ,this street leads to your mansion.

I never liked PDP in Abia but Nkechi was among one of the worst products of the bad PDP created by OUK, defecting to APC with OUK should tell the type of men in APC!

Don't argue like a headless chicken, jumping from one place to another without focus; you asked ignorant questions pertaining to the southern Kaduna; then suddenly in midstream switching to something different in Abia - even at that, you are still asking ignorant questions.

I don't give a damn who you are, Yoruba or Hottentot; just don't waste my time with ignorance and bigotry.
from your argument one can deduct your level of reasoning, I used a village in Abia as an example.

Why do FG pay compensation to land owners each time they want to make use of the land?
Politics / Re: Northern Governors Promoting Alien Interest – ARG by Fyno: 12:04pm On Feb 01, 2017
NaMeAboki:

If you are not so ignorant why would you ask who owns the land when in fact the land use act had clearly spelt this out.

FYI, government owns all the land which it vests in the state governor, who in turn is empowered to allocate parcels of it to individuals/organizations wishing to lease it via issuance Certificate of Occupancy, on agreement they'd pay land rent for the duration of the lease (usually 99 yrs).
Nobody out-rightly owns any land; individuals/organisations merely tenants on the land they occupy or build on; government is the only land owner.

As already mentioned, that was why this question along with the others you posed were quite ignorant as well as unnecessary.

. Because the FG owns the land in Ihe in Abia State people there should allow the Fulani herdsmen destroy their source of living? Are you OK?

I am a Yoruba before a Nigerian, I have an identity, I don't know about you or maybe your trying to tell us FG belongs to Fulanis.

When Obiano said Rochas is not what a leader should be some of us was doubting but with this response Rochas proved Obiano right.

Rochas is just thirsty for power just like the north,it has made him too arrogance towards other South East governors.

Its either you believe in his school of thought or you can go hell just like the north.

Were PDP this aggressive to Rochas maybe he would have not been governor now,he rose to became governor under the leadership of those he wants to kill.

In terms of leadership Obiano is far much better than Rochas .

So APC is now begging this Corrupt governors to join them and become saints, not about Corruption again,it's now 2019 election, they have realised the 5% are a huge and influential number come 2019 and are now inviting them.

I wish the youths of the South west are following what is happening in our present Nigeria, no body is now discussing how to get the economy out of recession, rather its about 2019.
Look at the caliber of Men they are poaching from SE,none of them is sound, either noisemakers like Rochas and failures like Onu,Ngige was an opportunistic etc

The West side of the South thought otherwise, helped these Vampires into Power and we are in this mess.
When we should be working hard exit recession, they are perfecting rigging.

Abeg shut up!
Why must everything revolve around Igbo this and Igbo that; and must always be viewed from your clannish egocentric tribal perspective?

And for goodness the sake, the Fulani herdsmen problem is fundamentally an economic one, a clash between agriculturalists and pastoralists for land to farm or graze cattle; pls stop interpreting it as a religious issue - because it is not.

However, if you still insist; then I'll have to agree that the plan to Islamise the country will be accomplished after Nnamdi Kanu accepts Islam and is installed as the chief imam of Imo State - hope you are happy now.
A typical Nigerian that will always shy away from the truth.
Herdsmen just killed more than 900 Christians in Kaduna within the space of two months and you are calling it an economic problem?.
I have few questions for you
1. Who owns the land that these Fulani herdsmen invades that leads to all this killings?
2.What is the nationality of these herdsmen?
3. Why is it that these herdsmen moves mainly at night and attacks by night too?
4. Why is that aftermath of these herdsmen attacks, each time the Christians wants to retaliate, the Nigerian army will either Arrest them or even kill them?
5. How many Muslim communities have been attacked by these herdsmen?
If you can sincerely answer this questions and still believed there's no Islamic agenda by Buhari administration, then either your a kid, a Zombie ,an Afonja or all of the above

IGBOS knew there was a systematically planned Islamisation of the country through NNAMDI KANU's prophesies and started the resistance.

Yorubas cowardly claimed ignorance of the pace with which these herdsmen invade southern part of the country killing farmers when we are forced to embrace farming, what an irony!

The earlier the Yorubas realized ibos are far much smarter than them and submit themselves, the better for them.
They voted against GEJ because of ibos ,now the north is beginning to show that all they care for is power to maintain the supremacy of the Fulanis.

I just hope this kids on this forum learns from the mistakes of Tinubu and co.
