Dear visa officer, good morning. Please i have a question. Does the payment of $165 Uscis immigrant fee apply to k1 visa holders? I mean the $165 that must be paid before the visa holder travels to the united states. Thank you for your usual assistance.

Hello visa officer, I am really grateful for how nicely you answered my questions before my interview, thank you so much. I had my k1 visa interview last week and it was successful. I was told by the officer that interviewed me that my visa will be ready on Thursday being tomorrow but my status on CEAC still shows non-immigrant AP, please could you help me verify what is going on. Can I still get it tomorrow or maybe on Friday. Thanks

Dear visa officer, thank you for your assistance so far. Please i have another issue which i want to verify. I have ghanian residence permit on my passport which was given to me when i went there for a computer training program, but i left ghana back to nigeria in less than a month due to the fact that i discovered that the program is not exactly what wanted at that time. Later on i moved to turkey where i did my masters in information technology. I have my police report from turkey and police character certificate from nigeria but i dont have any from ghana and i left there since 2012, since i still have that one year residence permit on my passport, what should i do? Because i am expected to provide a police report from all the countries i have lived in. Please remember that i spent less than a month in ghana. Thank you

Thank you. After I paid my visa fee, I got a payment reference number, then I completed the Ds-160 visa application form, after I submitted, I went www.ustravelsdoc.com to shedule my appointment, I was only asked to provide my passport number, priority date and payment refernence number aside other personal information. After which I scheduled my appointment and the confirmation page showed up. When I printed it out, it come out with a barcode number that is different from the one I have on my Ds-160. The barcode number is contained in the MRV payment section of the confirmation page. There was no provision for the bar code number on my Ds-160 on the appointment scheduling system. Pls maybe you can help me verify my appointment. Thank you

Thank you for your timely response. Please I want to know if it's neccessary for the bar code on the Ds-160 confirmation to match with the bar code on the appointment confirmation for k1 visa applicants, this is because mine did not match when I booked my appointment. Thank alot

Dear visa officer, thank you for your assistance the other time, I really appreciate. My file has been received by Lagos consulate and I hav booked for my k1 visa interview. Please I have a few questions. I have two years (2012 and 2013) 1040, with pay stubs and bank statement, plus a co sponsor, both are above 125% poverty line. is this enough to demonstrate that I will not be a public charge. Secondly I will like to know some examples of the questions I should expect. Thank you so much

Dear visa officer, please i would like to ask one more question. Do u think it is necessary for us to contact the embassy in nicosia to verify if the file was delayed or is it normal for a case transfer to about 1 to 2 months as it is with my case. Also i would like to understand the meaning of the status "Ready" which is my most recent update. Thank you so much
