I moved into Lagos November ending 2014, and needed to get me a job since by December i had fully settled. I learnt from nairaland that submitting C.Vs online does not really pay off as submitting C.Vs directly to offices. December 18th, I had a burning desire to walk round Toyin/Allen axis of Ikeja and submit application which i did. On Friday 9th January, i wrote my first aptitude test, i was called on Monday , 12th January, for a job i latter turned down, and on Tuesday 13th , i got a better job offer which i took and i am resuming soonest with a big office . Please join me express my unreserved gratitude and appreciation to the GOD OF SHILOH ( COS MY HEAVEN ON EARTH DON START ALREADY), BISHOP DAVID.O.OYEDEPO ( for the speedy fulfillment of his prophetic declaration upon my life) , to Pst. with the new year around. lots of churches seem to be holding fasting programme. raging from 7 days to as much as 100 days fasting. a question that was put to me by a newly wedded woman is this:

"What scriptures teach that fasting and/or refraining from sex during a fast, and/or denying oneself lovemaking to your spouse? I am a newlywed and my husband told me that when a person fasts he/she cannot have sexual relationships. You must deny your flesh of all pleasures. Is it true? What scriptures back this up?"

how should one behave is is total abstannace eg for those doing 100 days?

Good day Nairalanders.

This dude am talking about is a very close friend of mine. She has been courting this girl for over six months and he's madly in love with her. The problem ensued between them when he asked the girl hand in marriage.
But the girl only accepted on one condition, and that is, if his mother died, that's when she is going to accept the proposal because mother in-laws tend to create problem in marriage (according to her).

Please this young man needs your advice because he loves this girl very much and wouldn't want his mother dead either...please what should he do?
