Gaby, please and please. Give this book more time. I feel it's being rushed. Haba! Just 5 days to pen your dark experiences? Abi na short story you want publish?
Sit back and relax, remember some more intriguing parts of the story, I want to believe there is more. You'll be needing an editor too. And someone to proofread for you. I so much love your work I want it to be a great success.
Thanks bro lol

Seeing how experiences in life has taught me not to ignore fine prints when signing contract documents,i always try my best to read and understand terms and conditions.

Just got the following from okada books and thought to share, you know like with most things our Nigerian ways you never can tell.I want to be sure i wont publish on their site while someone at the back end starts profiting from my struggles and ordeal by electronically distributing and selling my work without my knowledge.

Please i need you guys to help me read and try dissecting this piece. There are many other terms confusing there but just picked out this:

[b]
[b]3. TERM AND TERMINATION
The term of this Agreement will begin upon your acceptance of it and will continue until it is terminated by us or by you. We are entitled to terminate this Agreement and your access to your Program account at any time. We will notify you upon termination. You are entitled to terminate at any time by providing us notice of termination, in which event we will cease selling your Digital Books within 5 business days from the date you provide us notice of termination. We may also suspend your Program account at any time with or without notice to you, for any reason in our discretion. Following termination or suspension, we may fulfill any customer orders for your Digital Books pending as of the date of termination or suspension, and we may continue to maintain digital copies of your Digital Books in order to provide continuing access to or re-downloads of your Digital Books or otherwise support customers who have purchased a Digital Book prior to termination or suspension.

@gaby, I'll advise you to publish the book with okadabooks.com, that way you get to receive your money straight to your Nigerian bank account and readers could also purchase the book easily. Amazon/kindle should be the next step if you want to. Remember, your main audience are Nigerians.
I think i'll just go with this after getting myself acquainted with how their systems work, while i continue working on the complexities of publishing on amazon for a wider reach.

But the first cover implies the story of one person, the traveler. @gaby, I like the first cover and the positioning of the titles; makes them more accessible to the eyes. But I think the background image is too bright/new; you can make it older and dim like the second cover.
Ok

My major grouse about this bbn shit asides how it has distracted our youths from the major economic and political problems bedevelling our country is, how and why in God's name NBC,ministry of information and the Government allow a project like this deliberately outsourced to South Africa to be aired in Nigeria.

See the number of job and opportunities the South Africans are benefiting from the show with the Deloitte guys down to the Ninjas, but our jobless youths out here are meant to fund the show with their sms's.

Very sad and pitiable.

I go rule this country one day it has been signed, and Bleep ups will be treated aswear..keep following me and remember this post..

Enough is so just enough abeg.

Gaby had really suffered and saw hell in the name of traveling to Europe by road.
I hope every intending travellers will learn from Gabby's sojourn.
Only few are lucky, the category Gaby belongs, to have had this chance of writing his story is a testimony.
The chances of scaling through is 30%.
Meanwhile, the route was still better with less dangers as at the year Gaby left.
Don't dare the journey!!

Keep it coming, the message is timely. No more secrets, let it all out. You owe it to yourself and humanity. Our youth needs to know the inherent risks and dangers of living life on the fast lane. Best of luck.
You know at some point in life, you get dealt a hand deservedly or undeservedly and you hope to find succour amongst supposed friends and family and all you'll get is talk downs, mockery and outright insults.

But when you know who you are deep down, and in spite of the possible lack of self confidence, you look and just shake your head at the mockers and under raters thinking to yourself "if only you know or can understand me".

This story about my life is obviously gone out of my control and i'm cool with it so long as i'm able to pass on a message and teach some lessons.

I'm not some pseudo, moniker or faceless one i've always enjoyed anymore and i can live with the unwanted scrutinies and criticisms this might attract.

I dey my house make dem cum beat me...

I would advise the second cover be kept...As Mr. Gabi did not go on his journey alone but went in a group.. It would just make his story seem isolated...And the silhouette and the red sand dune of sahara is just perfect..,My opinion though...
Copied....thanks

I'd feel more satisfaction and fulfilment when this book finally gets out there to reach my class of '99 on the route and everyone mentioned in the book.I'm not ignorant to the fact that i might be getting some sticks and outright bashings though for being such a "talkative" or get my case revisited but trust me i've taken more in my short life and can deal with all, this story needed to be told.

At least there'd be corroborations, laughters and joys seeing one of them finally took the "bull" to share all we went through together.

I can only imagine how many of us have been living and struggling with the scars and indelible memories...

Pheewww

Thanks to you my triple nairaland F's (Fam,friends and followers) for all the supports and constant push to tell my story and to Seun Osewa for this stage.

Not forgetting my 'greatest' Nazarene,Sparky, dexcira and all others too numerous to mention.

Love and appreciate y'all
