How about we all take a breather and think very critically on the present situation of our economy viz a viz our embezzled stolen wealth which are domicile in the hands of a very tiny few and stashed in their private storage facilities and of course not in our local currency. The economy has been deliberately and subtly dollarized such that our politicians have depleted our foreign reserves and mopped up the value of the naira in circulation such that when you go through the cash flow in terms of naira in our economy and the books of the respective banks you'll begin to see how Buhari shouldnt be envied with the huge task ahead in terms of saving the economy. The effect of the wanton dollarisation of our economy has simply rendered our local currency worthless and to the benefit of the stealing politicians. Just thinking aloud tho,my head wan burst. |
Potential ministers from the incoming president's side of the isle..the major ministries such as petroleum, finance and defence are obviously been discussed and reconciled by the dons themselves. |
Its shocking that most people here would have expected the new president to move in without a proper clean up and (out). I'm pretty sure this is a standard procedure and the ( renovation) mentioned here-in could simply mean checks for bugs and eventual debugging. Abi una want make GEJ dey view or listen to everything wey GMB dey do inside office and bedroom? And yes its got to be Julius Berger because they built everything and as such have the masterplan. My opinion though I might be wrong. |

British man who may have contracted Ebola died in Macedonia: official CORINNE LESTCH Today, 10:50 AM OGNEN TEOFILOVSKI/REUTERS Police guard the entrance of a quarantined hotel in Skopje October 9, 2014. A British man showing symptoms of the Ebola virus died in Macedonia on Thursday and authorities said they had sealed off the hotel where he stayed. Ebola is going global. A British man who may have contracted the deadly disease died in Macedonia, a senior Macedonian government official said Thursday, while a Spanish nurse being treated for the virus was reportedly in worse condition. The UK government is investigating the incident, and a second Brit has shown symptoms of the disease, according to Reuters. Authorities have sealed off the hotel where the British man stayed, and quarantined the other Brit and hotel staff inside, The Telegraph reported. The man arrived in the capital, Skopje, from Britain on Oct. 2 and was transported to the hospital around 3 p.m. Thursday, where he died several hours later. "We are aware of the reports and are urgently looking into them," said a Foreign and Commonwealth Officer spokesman, according to The Guardian. The UK's chief medical officer, Professor Dame Sally Davies, said even though Ebola's threat there remains low, officials are still ramping up precautionary measures. "Although the risk to the UK remians low, in view of the concern about the growing number of cases, it is right to consider what further measures could be taken to ensure that any potential cases arriving in the UK are identified as quickly as possible," she said. Similar to Kennedy Airport in New York, London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports, along with Eurostar terminals, will screen travelers arriving from West African countries including Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, which has become a breeding ground for the disease. OGNEN TEOFILOVSKI/REUTERS People look from the window of a quarantined hotel in Skopje October 9, 2014. Meanwhile, a Spanish nurse being treated for the virus was reportedly in worse condition. The health of Teresa Romero Ramos, 44, was deteriorating after she helped care for two missionaries with Ebola who died from the disease. “Her clinical situation has gotten worse but I cannot give any more information because that has been the expressed wish of the patient,” said Yolanda Fuentes, deputy medical director of La Paz-Carlos III Hospital in Madrid. Her beloved dog, Excalibur, was euthanized Wednesday as a precautionary measure by medical officials amid a surge of protests from animal lovers. Doctors in Madrid have also isolated five other people and are monitoring dozens more, according to AFP. Spanish officials have urged calm, but it’s a difficult task as the World Health Organization warned other isolated infections in Europe are “unavoidable.” Meanwhile, better news surfaced about a sheriff’s deputy who was tested for Ebola after going inside the apartment of Thomas Eric Duncan, the first victim who succumbed to the disease in the U.S. and died Wednesday. Health officials in Texas, where Dallas County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Michael Monnig had been examined, said he tested negative for Ebola. JOE RAEDLE/GETTY IMAGES Possible Ebola patient Michael Monnig is brought to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on October 8, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Monnig was placed in isolation in the same hospital where Liberian national Duncan had been treated and died. He had joined county health officials Zachary Thompson and Christopher Perkins into the Dallas apartment where Duncan had been staying when he fell ill to get a quarantine order. None of the officials who entered the apartment wore any protective gear, according to KHOU. Monnig said he felt sick to his stomach after visiting the apartment, and was taken to the hospital. “He’s doing exactly basically what we told him to do: If at any time you don't feel well, go seek some medical attention,” said Christoper Dyer, president of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Association. “I’m being told that he’s not exhibiting classic signs of the Ebola virus,” he continued. “It’s just a matter that he doesn't feel well, and because he had contact with Mr. Duncan's apartment, they’re taking every precaution.” |
I find it both strange and saddening that while the white americans responded to treatment Duncan succumbed to the deadly virus. RIP bro |

Did a trip from warri-abuja on 03/09 after having the thermostat reconnected and it was sweet sail down to Abuja, however on my return trip from Abuja on 09/09 I noticed my temp gauge hit the red and I parked, was lucky not to have gotten my engine head toasted. I allowed engine to cool off for about 30 mins refilled radiator and continued only to notice same yet again all within Okene. At this point I decided to undo the thermostat which means the cooling fan sets in motion immediately and constantly without any recourse to engine temp that was how I could drive without anymore troubles back to my destination. Now my question are these:: Do I just connect the cooling fan directly and if this will have any negative impact on engine and overall motor perfomance or simply get another thermostat for this engine in relation to our tropics here and if yes to second question what should I look for on a new thermostat. Many thanks gurus for your professional inputs. |
Hope you didn't undo your thermostat lol |
Naaaaa there must be some sort of conspiracy going on against LVG I swear not with the way the arrogant dutch man was carrying himself onto the pitch in man u's first epl game against swansea! Shuoooo |
Thanks guys for all the contributions. I've reverted all connections back to manufacturers setting and I'm quite ok and more confident driving seeing my temp gauge is working. The only thing remaining is finding the recommended coolant type. These are my findings after the default reversion: (I)I allowed engine run idling for about 15 minutes and noticed the temp gauge rise to about 3/4 of the gauge indicator and then the cooling fan engaged itself and immediately the temp gauge fell back mid-line which I'm sure is the normal level. (2)When I ran engine idling and turned on the ac the fans came on immediately. From my observation the cooling fans won't come on until the engine heats up to about 75-80 degrees Celsius or when the ac is turned on. Still on the lookout for the recommended coolant.will appreciate any advise on that also. |
