Well, the issue with PPSB is as a result of some slow movers in some zones. As at last Monday, (6th), 18 out of the 23 zones had submitted their details to the Board. But what I can't deduce is whether or not thr Board can submit at once or must wait for the remaining 5. Meanwhile, as at friday 3rd, some other ministries had been scheduled up till June 20th. Let's keep praying for a divine intervention to sustain us through d process and we would smile at the end. Cheers.

Overdeduction rectified. paid in full without refund. still wondering what could be the reason. we need to find out.

Thanks for your assistance. I went to ministry of finance with my payslip and was told that it will be sorted out cos many others had same ish. When you did yours, did they write down your name? I asked cos he didn't even ask of my name or computer number so as to enlist mine amongst those that will b sorted out.

My computer no., full name and value of overdeduction was taken. the list is on his table.
but if while you were there, d director had access to the payroll server, he may have rectified it. that was how mine was finally sorted out. i hope to receive full salary for january + some refunds of d overdeduction.
let's just wait nd see how jan. alert will look like. take care.
Take note: i got thru on thursday 7th jan. and i am with SSSB. I wouldn't know if there is a very recent change in procedure.

Dear friend, if u're short-paid, go to the min. of finance with a copy of ur october or nov. payslip to register it for necessary action, else it may continue. take note of d discrepancy which is likely #1,922.78. confirm. u may call me for further guide if necessary on 08098820053. i hav just gotten thru with such challenge. take care.

Nohing complex in d procedure. if u're affected, u have a choice to ignore d discrepancies as they further occur whenever or get it rectified at once and recover the difference. overdeductions vary from one person to another. if u experience a negligible one, no wahala, just praise God its not more than that.
U can obtain ur pay slip at ur board accouts dept.

For those who have over-dedduction or short-payment issues, go with your payslip to 3rd floor of d ministry of finance block, room 317, at d state secretariat, to get it rectified. not clear? u may call/sms 08098820053

I hope we don't have people on this thread who have been "hired" to distract members for the subject been followed. We are here in pursuit of a means of livelihood provided through the govt and encountering some frustrating incidents in the hands of those employed to protect us. Is it not enough cause for concern? And while some out there react in concern, all someone could offer here is a rail against those showing concerning. I think this is unfortunate. Let's please take time to criticize our post before clicking 'submit', so that we don't submit rubbish.

PORT HARCOURT—RIVERS State Police Commissioner, Mr.
Joseph Mbu, said, yesterday, that he dispersed the
gathering of newly recruited teachers that wanted to
collect their appointment letters in Port Harcourt,
Wednesday, to avoid breakdown of law and order.
Mbu, who spoke at the state Police headquarters, said he
acted on ‘security report’ that those at the stadium were
allegedly hired to disrupt the peace in the state, adding that
they were specifically recruited to embark on anti-President
Goodluck Jonathan protest, as they were 18,000 youths in
all.
The state Police Commissioner displayed some of the
placards, allegedly recovered from the dispersed crowd,
some of which read: Amaechi for Vice President 2015,
North for President, Amaechi for VP and It is time for the
North.
Lawmakers react
Meanwhile, condemning the action of the Police, member
representing Asari-Toru/Akuku-Tori Federal Constituency in
the House of Representatives, Dr. Dawari George, said it
was shocking, adding “I cannot come to terms with what
happened in a democracy and a society of law.”
Another lawmaker, Leyii Kwanee, Deputy Speaker of the
Rivers State House of Assembly, described the police
stoppage of the teachers’ gathering as “fascist and
totalitarian.”
Kwanee accused the Rivers Police of double standards in its
security duties, saying “the Felix Obuah-led Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, had been organising political rallies
without being dispersed by the police not minding that such
rallies were in contra-distinction with Independent National
Electoral commission, INEC’s regulation and also capable of
breaching peace considering the volatile situation in the
state.”

Continuing, Mbu said: “The truth is that the state government
is trying to keep the Police perpetually at work by distracting
us.
“Those newly employed teachers, in quotes, were youths
hired to carry placards and protest against the President.
“They were called to go there. Nobody invited the Police. My
informant told me that they were not called to be given
letters, but were given cardboards to protest against
Jonathan.
“They tore these things into pieces (holding the alleged
placards). We put them together. As a Commissioner of
Police, whose ears are on the ground, I will always abort such
gatherings.”
It’s impunity — Commissioner
Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs Ibim
Semenitari, described the action of the Police as another act
of impunity.
She said: “This is the impunity we have been talking about in
Rivers State. It is clear to Rivers people that this is the
action of retrogressive forces, who are totally against
development, because, it is the first time any government,
whether state or federal is employing 13,000 teachers at
once.
“I think they are afraid and worried that the people will
actually see that work is going on. Otherwise, tell me why
people want to cut short people’s smile? These are people
that have been unemployed.
“Nigeria is crying about unemployment, education system is in
a mess, and a government employs 13,00 teachers.
Somebody chooses to treat this with levity and to tear-
gasses the teachers, saying that the teachers were there
to protest against President Jonathan.
“What is the correlation between getting their employment
letters and President Jonathan? Why do people continually
want to drag President Jonathan’s name into everything? Is
there something they are telling Rivers people that we don’t
know?
“Rivers people need to fight and ensure that this reign of
impunity stops.
“It is clear that Mbu has an agenda to destroy Rivers State
and Rivers people have to ensure it does not happen.”

The Police, in short Mr Mbu should be made to realise that these Teachers of Distinction are not way of equal status with the police personnel of any generation. Police officers need to realise that teachers are intellectually superior, economically more productive, and are more socially amiable than they, and therefore should respect themselves. Enough of all the demonstration of their barbaric orientations that becloud their sense of respect and dignity towards other members of the public. Anyway, I no blame them, na them hold the guns, that's why a whole me together with my noble colleagues resemble "hired youths" for "anti-jonathan protest".......... nonsense.

There are so many mature learned and intelligent pple/Christians out there who can analyze and offer objective explanations to that statement. You may present it to any of them with reference to your comments to various posts on different subjects on this network. They'll be of better help.

Infact, she said that she visited schools yesterday to access the quality of the new teachers but to her dismay, the teachers are nothing to write home about.....

In my view, this woman is an enemy of progress, threat to the future and a tamed ENDTIME AGENT sent by the devil and anti-Amaechi's demons to thwart the long awaited testimonies of the children of God.......GOD HAS ALREADY PUT HER TO SHAME! Amen.........

Let no one in the house make any conclusion about the veracity of the said comment and the maker until the sanity of the said woman is confirmed at a reputable institution and by a qualified and competent psycho-medical practitioner. It could possibly have been a month-old recorded malicious statement prepared based on the belief that all schools open yesterday. Just to trigger some troubles. Though surely they shall gather together, but certainly they shall fail and scatter and never regather. Her sponsors shall reap enough disappointment and shame for tampering with God's providence for His children through this recruitment. No propaganda formed against us shall prosper, but every tongue that rises against us shall be condemned and frustrated!

You cannot in any a positive way add to the knowledge I have gathered across the past 25yrs concerning the persons and organisation involved in the subject. I think it would be wise of you to make some positive enquiries, rather than the hasty and rash conclusions that reflect your level of ignorance of misinformation on the subject. Those who call for and expect a change or modification of what they call "Deeper Life doctrine" err.
1. Dressing is a culture which Deeper life, expects every believer (not members only) to do in the light of scriptures and in line with the principles of holiness as revealed in the Bible. The WORLD knows that you will be addressed by the way you dress; so also does heaven.Dressing is not a doctrine in Deeper Life.
2. Any one who spends his/her days expecting any of the Scripture founded doctrines taught in Deeper Life will go to the grave still expecting. As NONE WILL BE CHANGED. Except there is divine evidence of a change in the Person and Word of God, which heaven, hell and earth know CANNOT be. Nothing is missed if one keeps the Word against socio-cultural popularity and make heaven.

Every idle word... Again, the fact that a person is a sinner does not remove his common sense. Most of the issues about John Kumuyi require only commonsense(fearless commonsense I mean) to resolve but humility is lacking and some will prefer traps(tradition) to the truth. Note also that you reffered to John and Joy as unguided children! How did you know this? You have also just judged them without hearing from them. You see yourself now?

If you know them as much as you ought to in relation to the subject, you wouldn't need to write all these. Judging is not the same as expression. If both Joy and John are in tune with biblical principles, and their parents and leaders are on ground to guide them, the messy fall-out would not have been. The basic thing in my arguement is the need for God's grace in the heart of anyone out to say he is bad or she is naughty. Just be sure the adjectives do not qualify the assessor also. Anyone who has problem reading a line of words that points him/her to the need to be free from what God hates is treading a dangerous ground as much as eternity remain a reality.

The Tunde Bakare of a man, was once a Deeper Lifer, who still nurses age-long grudges for not having his way in DL. so, he can afford to use this incident to let out something. But God sees, hears, and knows all, and will judge all according to ALL ACTIONS AND WORDS.
