Car Talk / Re: Lanre Shittu Motors Joins The League Of Vehicle Assemblers In Nigeria (VIDEO) by gadaffioba: 10:15am On May 30, 2019
olajide8:

The point of discussion is that innoson is assembling we want manufacturers, the point of the thread is that Shittu is assembling, and we want them to manufacture in nigeria, those that would bring in the real equipment, set up their own power plants, blast furnaces, management centers and so many departments up to electrical units wire manufacturing robber clips, interior model designers tailors, foam cushion manufacturers, glass manufacturing and equipment that make car glass and mirrors, bulbs etc I would like to stress that, if just one organisation manufactures today in nigeria we would a one breath employ close to 800000 unemployed people both on full time and part time basis

Check for Nigeria on the list.

Religion / Re: Enough Of The 'Let's Go Fishing', Why Not 'Let's Go Problem Solving'? by gadaffioba: 8:26am On Apr 30, 2017

You are so wrong.
Perhaps due to inadvertent or deliberate ignorance.
Many leading schools and hospitals were established by Christian and Muslim missionaries and people like Oyedepo were saved from a miserable life of penury and back breaking poverty by such heavily subsidised missionary schools. However, the pastorpreneur ingrate has decided to be like the Dead Sea. Unwilling to replicate the same subsidised primary schools that pulled him out of his squalor.
What a waste!
What a pity!

Those Missionary schools were created to propagate Christianity.

It part of the go a fishing programs.

Today the Church is the largest welfare donors to Hospital, Prison and Motherless home.

Nigeria: Just recently I was handed a flyer, a church was planning to establish another branch to add to the already many existing ones in that area.

They tagged the campaign, Lets-go-a-fishing

I personally feel, it is enough. Especially where you already have branches saturated and considering that making more Religious centers wouldnt solve our enormous problems that need clear cut practical solutions.

Please when will they start the campaign for

Lets-start-factories

Lets-create-jobs

People need JOBS...

If they are unemployed, they would not have enough to give (offerings and the Mandatory one), If people are unemployed, you will all suffer from area boys and road side robbers harrassing your members.

How is your Spiritual Practice (Religious activities) making the community and society better.

After all your singing, dancing, praying, preaching.....

How is it making any difference. What problems are those activities solving.

Do you like the way Nigeria is? Is this really okay?

Are you using all these to shy away from certain responsibilities?

Newton's first law of motion - Nothing will change until you act and things will remain the same until a force makes it do otherwise.

Sorry to bother you.

The Church is obeying the Lord Jesus Christ by going to Fish for men.

And when those men become transformed they will develop the society.

If another country completes whatever they are doing before us, that's their problem, not ours because we are not doing the same thing.

Last time I checked, what we are doing in Lagos is the largest public works project in Africa and work is yet to stop, work is still going on so what is your headache about?

And why are you angry that another country completed their projects.

The OP got the right to post and the MOD pushed to the Front page.

!

Again, very hypocritical.

So, how do you beat something that you haven't seen or know nothing about and that's not even the same?

You were going on and on about what they have in Ethiopia like how many stations, underground and all that when in fact you haven't seen what they have in Lagos an you don't even know that Lagos state's is a combination of multiples lines, 10 lane freeway and building rail bridge from Iganmu over the lagoon to the marina.

I did not even quote you in the beginning, I asked the questions below to show that both projects should not be compared because they are different.

Are they building a 60km 10 lane freeway at the same time also like Lagos ? No

Are they building a 60 km BRT access at the same time like Lagos? No

Are they building miles of Metro rail bridge over any lagoon like they are doing in Lagos? No

Are the building miles of Metro bridge across the Marina like Lagos? No

Are the building real stations like they are doing in Lagos? No, they built sheds like bus stops.

What's all this talk about building BRT lane, across the lagoon and across the marina.

Do you know Lagos rail projects was once suspended and restarted .

If another African country completed third projects before ours, we should ask what is wrong with our project, and not making the other countries look inferior.
