Please how is the first fee payment made? (I need a little guide on that please)
Can someone in US make the payment for me or is it better to pay from Nigeria?

Lastly, any hope via the border opening soon?

Thank you...
You can pay from anywhere. When generating the invoice, you will let them know where the money is coming from and who is paying for easy tracking

Any hope with the border status?
I'm lost on what next to do. I've accepted my offer at UTAS and deferred to July but I'm still waiting for the confirmation.
Is it advisable to pay for fees when I get the confirmation and proceed with visa application with the way things are at the moment?

Thanks Fam...
Yes, please go ahead

Wordpress.org is limited. You cannot do anything with WordPress.org except you already have your domain hosted. Did you even know that WordPress.org is like a marketplace, where you go to look for themes and plugins? It is not like that for

You have access to themes in via WordPress.org. You can blog without purchasing a domain name or hosting account with the help of .
If you hear people comparing WordPress and blogger, they are actually comparing and Google blogger.
Nice write up bro @Doubleoo. The basic key point between both of them is that you already have a custom domain before you can use WordPress.org for example, (www.doubleoo.com) while allows you to have a blog without your own custom domain. For example, www.doubleoo.

Webmasters VS WordPress.org - What Aspiring Bloggers Should Know by GadgetsR(op): 10:24pm On Sep 14, 2016

Having a prior knowledge of anything before we commit our time is very important so as not to err in the process. To ensure my own aspiring blogger have the needed info before s/he jump into hosting his or her website, I have decided to talk about the difference between hosting on and WordPress.org. Enjoy!

Hello friend, before you venture into blogging or hosting your domain on the publishing platform called WordPress, it’s very important you understand the difference between WordPress.org and . Although both are from the same parent, they offer relatively different services.

I am going to explain the difference between WordPress.org and so you have a better understanding on which platform to host your domain.

Let me quickly brief you on the history.

Brief History of and WordPress.org

WordPress.org is a free publishing platform which is often referred to as an open source content management system. What this means is that it is a software that anyone can download and use for free to build a website without having any knowledge of codding. It is basically What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG).

As time goes by, users of WordPress.org started demanding for more features like automatic backup, security, auto update and so on. Matt Mullenweg, the Co-Founder of WordPress observed the users demand, and in order to meet their wants and desires, he created

is a shared hosting platform. is responsible for handling all of the updates, backups, and security for its users. is managed by dedicated employees whose duties spans from developing, maintaining to offering a 24/7 support on the platform.

What are the basic differences?

Hosting

Hosting your domain on is done on server(s) while hosting your domain on WordPress.org is done on another host server like GoDaddy, HostGator, BlueHost etc.

Tools

Security, auto backups etc. are offered automatically on for your site while you need to perform security, auto backups for your WordPress.org site.

Social Media

is integrated with built in social media networks while WordPress.org require you to have a plugin to enable sharing functionality with your website.

Website Stats

is integrated with features such as your domain’s stats, sharing, poll etc. while WorPress.org requires you to install plugins to increase your site’s functionality

Theme Design

WorPress.com allows to you to choose from various theme’s design while WordPress.org requires that you install custom themes. You can even build you’re theme and upload

Registration

Installing WordPress on requires you register and abide to the rules and regulations while no ‘serious’ registration is done on WordPress.org. Registration is done with your host server and it requires a one-time installation from the cPanel.

Technical Support

Personal technical support is offered on while support on WordPress.org is usually through WordPress forums.

Drop a comment! Let's hear from you.

WebmastersMy Top 5 Recommended Wordpress Plugins For New Bloggers by GadgetsR(op):
This article talks about my My Top 5 Recommended WordPress Plugins For New Bloggers. I strongly recommend you use these plugins if you are a new blogger.

Now you are thinking of where to start with your blog right? I’ve been there! It’s not easy when you venture into starting your own blog. You always have this thought like how do I start? If peradventure you have gotten a domain name and your blog is live and you have successfully chosen a theme. The big question is, with the thousands of plugins available, what kind of plugins do I need to drive traffic to my blog at the “speed of light”?

I have compiled five (5) plugins that I strongly recommend will boost your blog and increase traffic. I have also listed what you should know when it comes to choosing a plugin in the nearest future.

THE KEY FEATURES TO LOOK FOR IN A WORDPRESS PLUGIN

Reviews: This is very key because you wouldn’t want to install and activate any plugin that 80 percent of the reviews are 1 star reviews. You should take this seriously because people that have used it are experienced, they know the pros and cons, and thus their reviews are very important in your decision in choosing any WordPress plugin.
Description: This is also very important. You need to understand what the plugin is all about and the description should give you an idea of what to expect when you download and activate the plugin.
Downloads: of course, this is also another key feature to look at. We humans believe if any plugin receives more than five (5) zeros in downloads, that means it performs above average. You should check this too.
Compatibility: I saved this for the last because it is very important. You should check if the plugin you want to install is compatible with the version of your WordPress to avoid glitches in the future.

MY TOP 5 RECOMMENDED WORDPRESS PLUGINS FOR NEW BLOGGERS

1. Yoast SEO plugin: If you are looking for the first plugin to install and activate in your WordPress blog, Yoast SEO plugin is the plugin I strongly recommend. This plugin allows you to put your favorite keywords, you can write meta titles and descriptions for all your category, tag and custom taxonomy archives, giving you the option to further optimize each post and pages.

It has three colors of green, yellow and red. Green tells you that your SEO is good, yellow tells you that you need improvement and red tells you that your SEO is bad. This plugin also ensures that your content is the type of content search engines will love. Furthermore, you can create XML your sitemap with this plugin which means you don’t need to install another plugin to create XML sitemaps for u. I used this plugin for all my posts. I strongly recommend Yoast SEO plugin for new bloggers.

2.SumoMe Plugin:This is a suite of plugins. It has sticky social media icons that ensure that your users see it often to share your post at all times making it a great plugin to drive traffic to your site. It also has an easy way of doubling your email subscribers by popping up so users can subscribe to your post each time they visit your site with the simple email integration with MailChimp. I use SumoMe Plugin and I strongly recommend it for new bloggers

3. Akimset: Talking about spam messages. This a great plugin to deal with spam. Akimset is very good to fight comments outside the topic discussed on your post. Spam messages are not good and you should not allow them in anyway. Akimset fight spams in the background and you really don’t need to bother yourselves deleting unwanted comments from your blog. I strongly recommend Akimset plugin for new bloggers.

4. Google Analyticator:
Google Analyticator is the plugin you need to monitor traffic on your blog/website. You need to ensure traffic flow is checked, you need to know about bounce rate (which is the time a user spends on a page before leaving your blog). You need to check pageviews and so many more. Google Analyticator is a plugin I strongly recommend for new bloggers.

5. Subscribe to comments: Subscribe to comments plugin is a very essential tool for new bloggers. This is because you want your commenters to come back to your blog after they have left a comment. This plugin sends a mail to your commenter when you reply their comments, thus enabling them to revisit your site once gain. This is another pageview to your site stats. I strongly recommend subscribe to comments plugin for new bloggers.

Among the many plugins available, try my top 5 recommended plugins for new bloggers and see the awesomeness in traffic flow.

If you have any more recommended plugin(s), kindly leave a comment. Let’s hear your view.

I don't really understand you but if you are saying that if you add a subtitle file then u close the video player and open it again u'll have to select the subtitle again. To avoid this all you need to do is make the subtitle have d same name with the video.
Oh! Now I get you. That means you need to give the subtitle file the same name as the movie title itself? If your response is YES then I will try it soon. Thanks for sharing mate! smiley

It will work. Just put the subtitle and the movie in the same folder and make sure both have the same name.
I think each time you close a session(using a video player to see a movie and you add subtitle file), you need to re-add the subtitle file to initiate the session again.

I jst discovered i could play movies on my memory card using card reader on my tv,we all know that movies from fzmovies.net don't come with subtitle,i don't know if i downloaded the subtitles from google and put them in the same folder as the movies whether it would automatically play when next i decide to watch the movies on tv from the memory card, any suggestions of other high mp4 movies sites with subtitles?
Hello SpectreOO7. Of course you can play movies on your memory card and USB Flash attached to your TV or PC that has the capability to do play movies via the medium. In fact many movies don't come with subtitles unless you download from open subtitles, yify subtitle, isubtitle, moviesubtitle etc. Now quoting your question "i don't know if i downloaded the subtitles from google and put them in the same folder as the movies whether it would automatically play when next i decide to watch the movies on tv from the memory card". To be honest I have not tried it on TV, I have only tried it using traditional video players for PCS and smartphones. But what I am very sure is that each time you need to watch a movie that doesn't have subtitle, you need to "manually" add it to the video player. I hope this helps you Spectre007?
