Oau just came 1st from the national maths competitions which had 18 unis participating. Unilorin, Ui, Aaua and others followed suit. Truly, OAU is Oba Awon Universities.

Just yesterday the senate council of OAU had a meeting with 'short Fab' 4 making such lugubrious decision by shutting the school and suspending the SUG. Can u imagine? that stubborn 4ft Ekiti idiot had 2 walk away from d meeting. Not only did he did that but also sealed and weld the SUB .As I speak, Fj and Mandela the SUG presi and gen sec respectively had been arrested. Fab also threatened to call us back by september. All part 1 students' admission has been put on hold 4 now. U can confirm this by assessing ur a/c in eportal. It will tell u that 'sorry u're not a student.

Guys, it's bn a very long time. Sorry 4 not posting since. 4 those waiting 4 their names, i have to be sincere with you. the truth is that d 1st, 2nd and 3rd+VC lists are all out. Just yesterday, i saw the list and went thru it from d admission officer Any more hope? Maybe yes maybe no. I can bet with my life that if ur names are not on the aforementioned lists, ur names may not be out EXCEPT u come to the school, meet deans or even the admission officer. Some of them are so nice that they will demand nothing from u. Shortfall list is for candidates who have met 'people' and prayer also works like magic. Of course, that is when u've done ur part. Mind u, if any1 asks u to pay any amount to help u don't mind them oo. If u pay any1 u that at ur peril. Bye 4 now.

unilag is no doubt one of the best unis in 9geria but their producing 119 1st class is inconceivable to me. i can vouch that only like 40-45% of the 119 can make 1st class in oau. No wonder i saw a vacancy requesting for 1st class holder or 2.1 in OAU.

@that obviously means month and year of the exam u took. be it waec/neco but it has to be that format. i.e month and year e.g may/june 2007

For all who are yet to see their names on the list, expect it by 1st week of january. All info as regards registration and fees shall be on the school's website by 1st week of january.

Truly, comparing OSU with OAU is like placing an ant before an elephant for comparison of size. here, the post was not- which is the better school, OSU OR OAU. The point is, when it as to do with medical, OSU is better and i can prove my point. just three years ago, OSU won the best uni for med. college. and the work going on in the teaching hospital is awesome. notwithstanding, OAU is one of the best for medicine as they prove that in their teaching hospital cuma university in the north to do a successful kidney transplant. their rating for now as to be behind OSU in medicine.

@your friend will be screened out of the dept to a lower 1 that does require a credit in maths.

@kelvin55c, here is the bill with little additions which makes it still less than 20k which is ridiculously cheap than its worth. it's like what we call paradox of value in economics.

@ OAU cheapest university in Nigeria. the school is planning to increase the fees now but the new SUG president (FJ) has assured all students that he would make sure such doesn't come to place.

In addition to the general University requirements, candidates for the B.Sc. International Relations must also have five credits which should include English Language, Mathematics and Government at the West African School Certificate level or an equivalent grade in these subjects at the General Certificate of Education Ordinary level.

Every 1ool new entrant gets accomodation as cheap as #3090. all the fees you'll pay will be less than 20,000

all your registrations will be done online including that of your accommodation after which you'll print them out and submit them in your, department, hall of residence or as the case may be.
