After the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington DC, President Barack Obama, out of courtesy, came forward to shake hands with his Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari. In the process of doing so, he also introduced Buhari to the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Pierre James Trudeau. While gesturing at Buhari, Obama remarked: "He is doing a good job!" The Canadian PM replied "He is indeed!" President Obama and Prime Minister Trudeau are not obliged to say anything nice about President Buhari. The fact that they made these complements on such a platform is a testament to the fact that he Buhari is highly venerated by other leaders around the world. Believe it or not, these kind of gestures and perceptions will eventually translate to good omen for ordinary Nigerians back at home. Stop being silly. Be grateful to Almighty God and just keep praying for our President to be immensely successful. Buhari's success is our success!
