but for 7months now, I have been day trading on demo and it has been so far profitable.
sometimes I took trades that quickly ran into profit of about 5% of my account withing 4hours. and before u know what's up the 5% floating profit would be wipe of the account within 30minutes.
the beautiful part of trading is that same trade can still go on to be a winner in the evening.

if I understand what you are saying correctly, the moment the market retrace back and swallow the 5% equity that I gained earlier, I Don lose my account be that?

Good morning, with the bolded, We the association of demo traders are not seeking your validation to take us serious. Everyone’s learning curve is not the same, you getting to know your edge or bread and butter setups early does not mean that people trading demo no serious.

It’s good you’re trading a prop firm account and an instrument that is trending, good for you and ordibest. At the moment most currency pairs are a mess take Gold asset for example even if it’s not a currency but we all know the volatility makes everyone want to trade it. Then imagine a new person learning in that environment having to deal with manipulation.

I guess u started with demo too at some point of your career so just chill and enjoy your winnings rather than seeking validation from demo traders saying you don’t take them serious. Even traders here that have excellent track still trade demo.

By the way, you back test and feel everything is so easy but once in love market conditions, it’s a different ball game.

at 5.6 you're eligible for an extension but you will have to send them a mail requesting for the extension....

But if you get to 6 % the extension button will automatically pop out on your dashboard at the end of 30 days

Truly forex is not for everybody. It has it's risks and gains and besides waiting for trade set-ups which could take weeks or months is a hard skill on it's own.

How to make profits from forex trends

1. Look for buying opportunities in an uptrend

Anytime any sell candle or signal shows up, just sell immediately as it confirms the trend and the trend confirms it. Be wary of buying in a downtrend as that could be a bull trap.
