Who were you trying to impress by not applying to end your second evaluation phase? Or am I missing something? Is there a drawdown for ftmo live account too?

It depends on the prop firm, Yes for FTMO, but MFF is calculated base on the balance and Equity, whichever one is greater at the beginning of a new trading day.

This dosent happen due to holding your profit long term in your account. You have heard many people here said prop firm dosent favour swing trading much. When you are 5.2 % you should start locking profit. So you allow trade that have went up 5.2% to comeback to breakeven? Even allowing trade that have went up 2% on my account to comeback to hit me at breakeven is a no no for me.

. Individual differences.. As for me, is either the trade hit TP or SL , the only adjustment I normally do is to break even, but I don't locking profit, if the trade reaches 24hrs without hitting TP, I will manually close it and call it a day.

In as much as I like the analysis but im a little bit skeptical about it...I lost my first ever MFF account due to that, I was 17% up on 8th week , unfortunately lost the account due to daily drawdown, I carried a trade overnight with 5.8% profit , the next day the equity dropped by -5.2% , got a message from them tagged ,"hard breech" that was how I lost the account, no withdrawal ..I became I'll overnight with HBD. Learnt my lessons .

This industry is not for the greed and impatient, I was up, 4% on my mmf evaluation account last week, remaining 1% to finsh it. This week I violated my rules and started risking 1% on a single trade without waiting for confirmation before striking. Is dawn on me today I'm down on -7%... Risk management is the key.

You started failing the moment you attached emotions to it. You can still pull it back, my friend was down on 8.5% the last week to end the challenge, he pulled it back to 15% within 3 days risking only 1%..

My own evaluation account, my first trade was terrible, I have never traded XAUUSD, so I made a mistake on how to calculate the position sizing which cost me -4.6% ,almost hitting DD. I took a break for 2days and came back better to finished the challenge within 3weeks. Don't allow fear of loosing the account to grip in.

JPY so week, can't get enough with UJ, just doing bonaza today with ease.

The emotional torture associated with FX ehh.. I sold UJ &GJ last night on mff evaluation account, woke up this morning only to find out that broker took me out with wide spread without hitting my stoploss.. currently UJ is running 60 pips , GJ 66. Just fuckin down .this is not the first time is happening to me, and I can't do without using Stop.. pls folks how can I avoid this , whereas I placed the same time on my deriv account without being stopped.

Ok...As for the money management ,I used FX Calculator or myFxbook which has calculator to calculate the the amount of money and lotsize I'm willing to risk per trade. So it makes things easy for me cuz my trade ideology is not based "trade to trade perspective" .Eg:
If I have $1k account,which I will risk 0.3% of it ($30) per position. Obviously I will lose about 33 trades in a row to lose the account.

See planning! That's what separates me from you... I trade only 6 pairs and at least I see trading opportunities in them twice, I have analyzed and planned it out just like you concerning the percentage weekly gain and overall monthly gain.

But the problem is the discipline, I can have it for 2-3 weeks, but after that...

The last demo account I had,(last month) I took it to 270+ in a month using just 0.01 and that was the longest I've been disciplined for. It's hard but seeing as you have implemented it, and it's working for you, I don gather my motivation. If you can do it so can I.

Sure ,is all about planing, to be disciplined in the profession is very hard, cuz one way or the other you will still gamble or chase trade . I have learned to sit on my hands when things are going bad. You can reduce the pairs, 5 is giving me headache .After the challenge , if I pass anyways. I will only focus on US30 and GU.

Yea 0.25-0.30%.
It solely depends on your trading strategy and most importantly risk parameters.
I only trade GU, EU, GJ,US30 and UCAD. Each of these instrument, I always get one trading setup on each of the pairs weekly , making it out 5-7 setup weekly, sometimes above the aforementioned.

I always go for 1:4:5:7 depending on the movement, as I don't leave money on the table, whatever the market gives I lock half of it.

So on a week if I win 3 trades and lose 3 ,I will still call it a good week , cuz I will end it 3%. Which is my weekly target..once I get the 3% before Friday I will stop for the week..

You don't have to risk more bro, remember is not a race, once I'm done with phase11 I will share the whole journey.

US30 has become my favorite financial instrument recently, hassle free to trade with high volatility.. currently we are on reversal zone for Buy, just wait for price to break the previous high on one minute chart, the reversal candle has firmed on 30min(inside bar) ,be patient to see Price breaks the high of the Inside bar and retest. I'm risking 40pips to target 200pips if the entry conditions are met.

GJ doing wonders after the PMI , have collected 1:5RR on it, patiently waiting for it to fill FvG and retraces back to 160.000, then will will sell again...
Anyways guys I just passed mff phase 1 evaluation, risking only 0.30% of my account balance. This is my first time of trying it out, will update my journey once the job is completely done.

What! Indices is the best thing that can ever happen to you as a trader, especially US30. Analyse on 1hr,30m&15m, entry 3m during NYSE open 2:30pm. As for currency pairs ,I only trade 3(Gu,EU&UCAD)

Hi guys, I have been riding UCAD since Friday, obviously one of my best pairs, I felt like I should share this setup. UCAD has caught traders on the wrong side of the market , thereby taking their stops. If it's get to our zone 1.28468 we should be looking out for sell, pls wait for reversal that that's structures on 5mins( pin hammer or bearish engulf) let's take the cookies.

For the past 2 weeks I have never lost a trade on GU, yesterday was tsunami cuz I was over confident without considering the risk parameters. In my opinion I think the big guys want to clear some stops and rally up to 1.25186. for now buying mode activated bon newyork session.
