You guys are unbelievable honestly, the sponsor said what he wants and some folks are coming up with their own rules, why don't you go and tell TFT or MFFX that they should adjust their set of rules just to fit you? The worst limit you can get is one month, some start ups are giving unlimited, if is your first time MFF and TFT are sure plug, FTMO with their 10% breakthrough is something else, that 2% difference is so big jare. Another thing is price tag cheakam na..

Day 1 - two trades. 23pips loss and 45 pips profit

Day 2 - 1 trade 75 pips profit

Day 3 - 1 trade 23 pips loss

Day 4 - 1 trade 23 pips loss

Day 5- 1 trade 23 pips loss

Total profits 75 +45 = 120pips

Total loss 23+23+23+23 = 92 pips

Closing profit = 120 pips - 92pips = 28 pips...

Risking 0.35% per trade with 0.15 lots...

Profit for the week 0.42%

I wish I can be structured like this, see journal. If you continue like this with prop firms you are going to break the 🏦

Oh alright... And thanks for the clarification... But honestly tho... I don't know why most prop firm don't allow swing traders... That's why I run my own account... I also don't get used to Scalping... As long as you project a trade to run for long days or weeks... It enter your point of interest and you enter... After running to your direction for some hours or days... You shift your stop loss and you let it run to the next turning point or liquidity... And that's it... But telling me I must close my trade in a day or before weekend is what I don't like...

The ground is fair enough for everyone, the problem here is risk management, FTMO has swing account with leverage less than 35 if I'm correct. MFF and TFT allow you to keep your open positions through out the weekend.

I have 100k account I called swing account with MFF, I risk about 0.6% on the account, which can accommodate daily DD. I started trading the account Feb this year , taking at most 3-5 positions per month, currently the account is on 126k, not planning of withdrawing anytime soon till 3rd quarter of the year. You see , all you just need is adjustments.

Other accounts pay the bills .

big man, wish I fit explain it better, if u see the kind price discrepancies and mismatch wey dey happened for crypto market on daily, especially "Top gainers market" u no go look FX again. If you can't code Aglo, use simple math calculation like , getting your cross exchange rate and compare it to implied exchange and calculate your profit percentage, this kind of opportunities don't last more than 3mins, so you need a script that will be scanning market on regular,make sure u include trading fees on your calculations.

Ya bro, if u dey use to that kind figure it can never be an issue, just be adjusting your SL to avoid daily drawdown.

Omor I have seen how persistent n dogged some of us are. I have not been contributing to thread for some reasons, been writing my thesis, thank God man is done!

Have not been actively trading forex recently forex cuz I have seen that crypto is gold mine, don't be limited by one market,be spontaneous.

If you really know how to write code (python/JavaScript), dive into crypto and clear the money on the table. Crypto has lots of opportunities for everyone, I think that I have found were I belong.

My staying in Durban has taught me alot.

Just Learn how to calculate triangular arbitrage using Bellman-Ford Algo, you can use python ( necessary library, ccxt, pip,numpx ,pythy-binance) try to get a static IP address, SA here and 9ja get dynamic IP addresses.
Create you API on your exchange, preferably Binance cus of volume, liquidity n security.

Simulate your code with any backtesting software, you can't still do it with python anyways.

Crazy thing is that u won't even be spending more than 5mins trading,but I bet you u will be raking madly, enuf talk jare!

Finding a entry for a pair moving on high momentum is hard mehn. Anybody knows how to set alert on TradingView or any app available.

For TV, open the instrument chart, go to menu it will take u 👇 then input the desired price. For TV free sub u will be restricted to one alert.

Suffer no dey tire u, at this level u still dey calculate pips whereas there are many trading tools out there that will speed up the process, don't worry by the time u will get to 6-7 figures account size u will understand that risk needs to be predetermined with the speed of light and accuracy

Are you sure u are a trader? He totally made sense, survival is the key to consistency. The longer ur account survives the longer u are exposed to the tricks and matrix of the market which will make u become an experienced trader...I could remember when I acquired my first prop account, I blew it within 2 weeks cuz of bad risk management. I got the second and started risking 0.2% , I wasn't making much but I was happy .

We need to consider account variance, remember is a numbers game, so man needs to be disciplined and take your setups with good risk management. The more valid setups you take the more u allow the edge to play out... Let's not forget is a probability game .
