MrBroke: What the Bleep are you saying. You think speaking a language makes any one better than the other. With all your dialect speaking what do you have or are you smarter, more intelligent those who can't speak. A general language is what is important not a useless tongue that causes division amongst people. You better change your mindset Being proud of who you are, keeping your identity with dignity and not being a dumb wannabe (who thinks by not speaking your mother tongue or any Nigerian language makes you "civilised" or "cool" ) makes you a more valuable black person in general. There are many dumb black people that are the opposite and make other peoples think we are dumb idiots who just want to be like them. I hope you mindset is not the latter! If you parents raised you well, you will speak and hear your mother-tongue (or the local language of where you grew up) plus English FLUENTLY. If only English is what you speak, they have failed at parenting! You are then a colo-mentality raised child. |

Exmilitant: What's the value of Spanish and French language save teaching? It makes some with kolomentality, who can't speak any Nigerian language feel funky. While the Spanish and French just see them as useful Man Fridays. A poor immitation of themselves. A wannabee. These same Spanish and French people, on the other hand, worship Davido, Wizkid and Burna who are not wannabes and selling authenticity. |
