owobokiri: Obasanjo gave you GEJ, Shagari and Yaradua. He could have retired Buhari, Babangida and Abacha since most of them have held political offices before he left in 1979. Obasanjo didnt mind Abiolas stolen electoral victory and tried a 3rd term when he had a rare oppurtuinity to reset this countrys politics post 1999. For the first time in the history of Nigeria a head of state left office and became an instant billionaire. It was not the case with Balewa, Ironsi, Gowon or Murtala before him. They were all poor in relative terms even if they underperformed. Obasanjo didnt just underperform, he stole everything in sight and started a farm that can not be said to be a legitmate product of his pensions. This was in the 70s and 80s when the highest cases of corruption were just occassional cases of '10%'.He taught officialdom in Nigeria how to loot in billions. HE KILLED, MAIMED, STOLE AND HANDED OVER TO UNPREPARED CHARACTERS so he could look better. Jonathan is not leveling Bornu as Obasanjo did Odi, Zaki Biam and others. Obasanjo destroyed this country. He is by far the greatest curse placed on Nigeria by Lucifer.

donphilopus: I'm getting some info that GEJ might drop Sambo, and pick another person as his running-mate; which I doubt! But, if that truly happens, GEJ should be ready to lose Kaduna, alongside 3 major states in Nigeria.

uboma: Visit Kano and see the high rate of abandoned children who are left to cater for themselves. Some of these children are as young as 5 years old. You will see carrying plastic plates, roaming the streets and begging for alms. During the harsh harmattan season, most of these children don't even have proper clothing and footwear. They sleep out in the cold etc. Imagine how these children's lives would turn around for the best if the N1 Billion was spent on improving their lot in life by way of providing adequate shelter, food, education, vocational skills, quality health care etc.

The government of Kano State, certainly, has lost its priorities towards its indigents. What a pity!!!

The idea for the establishment of the college, according to Governor Kwankwaso, was to consolidate bilateral relations between the state and the Niger Republic, expose Kano children to French language as well as create unlimited opportunities for them in French and English speaking countries.

"With an annual increment of 200 students, 100 from Niger and 100 from Kano, it is our vision that in six years when the college will graduate these very students, they will have a population of 1,400 students", the governor said

The man is trying to build up Western Education in Kano, get his people learning a foreign language......French, ......which would heavily enhance the students' job prospects, and he wants his people to be exposed.

But attacking Mr. President can not solve Nigeria's problem. As a Phd holder, I expected you to list way forward, suggestions and ideas to restructure and make things work at the convenience of the common nigerians.
