I no get your time. I schooled in a federal government college know as Unity schools. What we pay for fees is just basic needs like feeding, books etc. Tuition fees was not included so we paid lesser than others. If you visit government hospitals, they pay fees but it's cheaper compared to private hospitals.
In other countries globally, tuition fees for public institutions are cheaper than private institutions.

You ended up confusing yourself. Running costs are incurred by the government as part of their social responsibility. We have public schools, hospitals globally not just in Nigeria. Government bears the cost for social benefits of the people.

Here in Nigeria, government is wasting money on irrelevant expenses yet you want them to pass on their basic responsibilities to the citizens. 🙄🙄

Model schools are run by the government and not a profitable venture. We have unity colleges over the country subsidized as well.
If they're to increase fees to 100k and above, how is it different from schools run for profit? It's like state teaching hospitals and other private hospitals.

What exactly are they benefitting from the government? The people in government enjoyed free education and other incentives during their time, why can't they do same for others?

I believe you're an Agbado supporter no need to engage you further on this. Infact they should increase the fees to 500k to match with others and generate revenue. The government of the day is interested in generating revenue at all costs. Milk them dry!
