Happy weekend friends |
windvane:Okay like I said I just dropped my review |
windvane:Okay Sir I've checked myself I'm just dropped my experience to warn future customers that's all. |
God didn't send Jesus Christ to condemn the world but to save the world. John 3:17 Are you saved through Jesus Christ? #dailydevotion #jesussaves

Good morning Friends
|
windvane:No need trading banters with you. Let it be here that you sold a faulty phone to me and refused picking your calls or responding to chats. That's all |
sonmvayina:My problem with you is that you're confused. You switch to context which I explained for you yet you keep on running around. You got your explanation of the chapter from the Rabbi and left the scriptures again. Just stand on one spot. For Isaiah to use we, our and us, he's referring to humanity including himself. Let's say Israel was the Him being punished, he would have referred to the other party as "they" not we, our or us. The scripture didn't mention God was punishing His servant Israel but punishing a man on behalf of Israel and humanity of which Isaiah was among. Tell your Rabbi to come read this not just refering me to his video |
Jesus Christ said that except a man be born again, he can't see the Kingdom of God! John 3:3 Are you born again?
|
sonmvayina:You're referencing a video? Anyone can make videos. There are several prophecies about the suffering and death of Christ not just Isaiah. Use the scriptures as reference not what someone said |
Dtruthspeaker:I explained this in detail later. Predestined or not, human decisions have a role to play |
sonmvayina:What Isaiah was a prophet who foretold the life of Christ and he started from verse 1. Isaiah started the narration from verse 1. Check from 3-7, he interchanged "we" with "our" and "us". So the "we" is same with "our" and "us" which refers to mankind. "He" or "Him" is Christ Jesus. This is English nah just like "We" went to visit "our" old teacher who gifted "us" a goat. Isaiah 53:6 NIV [6] We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. https://bible.com/bible/111/isa.53.6.NIV Isaiah 53:10 NIV [10] Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. https://bible.com/bible/111/isa.53.10.NIV I just highlighted some places for you to check. The Lord himself allowed Him Christ to suffer or afflicted Him because He bore the sins of mankind not just Israel. The judgement of the Lord that was to be on man was unleashed on Him as He was the substitute. It wasn't a mistake in any way and it was fulfilled exactly in the new testament when Christ died. Do you remember He wished the cup of suffering be taken away from Him at a time but had to submit to it. Isaiah's prophecy was fulfilled exactly. Go and read about the events that lead to His death. You countered yourself when you said the Lord afflicted Israel and later found out it was a mistake. The He is Jesus Christ not Israel. The affliction was not a mistake. Since He accepted to act as substitute for mankind in bearing their iniquities, He must be the one to experience the full wrath of judgement intended for mankind. It was a bitter sacrifice which will give Him glory as prophesied by Isaiah and was later fulfilled. Read Philippians for more insight |
HeadBoy9:You're correct just that I'll point out that what you call bad gifts are good gifts used negatively. A gift in its real version is good and meant to be used positively. It becomes bad when it's corrupted for bad |
HeadBoy9:No 3: If plan A fails, Plan B will be put in place just like we humans do. Jesus Christ redeemed mankind because Adam plan A failed No 4: I never said lack of discipline or dishonour was a divine gift given to Esau. God doesn't give bad gifts. You earlier pointed out man has a freewill. Esau had the will to either be disciplined or honest and that would have changed the future outcome. There are instances where men through decisions changed outcomes. As for the case of Judas, he was labelled as a thief even before he betrayed the master. So the enemy saw him a fertile ground to use to actualise a decree. Whatever decrees made in the spirit realm must be accomplished on earth not just because it's a decree but by decisions of human good or bad. For God's decree of redeeming Israel from Egypt, Moses was the man suited for the purpose and made himself available so he was utilized. If he had refused, the task would have been passed on to the next individual till it's accomplished. Same scenario with David, Jacob, Judas, Esau and co that's why I said good or bad. |
sonmvayina:You're still creating confusion for yourself. In the context is "Him" or "He" which is an entity. He was punished for our transgressions means an entity was punished for other people's sins. How can you now interpret it as them punishing Israel on behalf of God? By His stripes or wound we were made whole or healed. Between the afflicted and the punisher according to your explanation, who should be made whole or healed? This shows you lack understanding. According to the context, there's an entity "Him" and a group of people "we". What occurred is an exchange where the "He" took upon himself the transgressions, afflictions, sins, sickness of the "we". First you acknowledged Israel sinned or so they thought. How come you concluded Israel was innocent? So they punished Israel by mistake 😂 According to history it was correct that Israel sinned and was punished by God. How can you conclude they were wrongly punished by those kings and you even said they were acting on behalf of God. They knew God's counsel of Judgement for them to embark on that task of punishment. How come you conclude by saying they now realise it was a mistake? Where did the error come from? God was with Israel yet the same God was punishing same Israel through them? A victor or oppressor now needs healing or satisfaction instead of the conquered or oppressed? Confusion at it's peak 😯 |
HeadBoy9:1. David had a good background as a shepherd that prepared him for the kingship role 2. God is Merciful and Just. The freewill given to Man doesn't mean he should live his life anyhow. Any Man who breaks even societal laws will face the consequences even though Man is free in quote. There's freedom and there's law and order. 3. If you know what is to happen in future and can make choices, you'll take decisions that'll favour you. God knows the future of every human ahead of time and takes His decisions accordingly. He's not unfair just as you're not unfair by taking a good decision that'll affect your future. 4. When God created Man and other creatures, He gave them different abilities. David had leadership qualities which he lived his life for. His brothers had theirs but didn't utilise them per say. The issue we have is we're bothered about what is not ours or doing what is not ours. Man can only fulfill his maximum potential if he follows his divine path. A bird will do a better flying job than an elephant 🐘. If we focus and pay the sacrifice for our own personal callings, we'll be champions in them. God is wise! |
The Steadfast love of the Lord never ends. His Mercies never stops, they're new every morning. Great is your Faithfulness Lord! Lamentations 3:22-23 We declare the new week blessed in Jesus Christ Name. Amen 🙏
|
This is my own little understanding God is a Spirit in fact the Head of Spirits so sees ahead of time. He knows what will happen and plans ahead of it. Esau, Reuben, Judas will be bad options to handle those important roles. Also they contributed to whatever happened to them. It's a deep discussion if we're to go further. God values obedience to him than positions so will allocate roles to whomever will play by His books. He can elevate a nobody that values Him over anyone that's so called fit. Example David and his brothers. |
Always Remember that the name of Jesus Christ is above every other name. Philippians 2:9 Always call on His name! Happy Sunday friends. May His Grace be sufficient for us 💓
