nairalanda1: THe man is telling the truth, and many of you Nigerians do not want to hear the truth because he is a government man. But even then, government men sometimes tell the truth.
Nigeria police spends one tenth of what the New York city police uses to police 20 million people to police 230 million people, yet we expect them to be better than NYPD
The amazing thing is how this country has not become fifty times worse than it is.
I no dey support APC, or PDP, or Obi. There are some facts that need no political story. I support a government that would make us as rich as CHina and USA By manufactured goods and services.
Out of the budget they receive yearly, a huge percentage is embezzled. Calculate the amount allocated to personnel Vs what the officials received in reality. What have they achieved so far as insecurity has increased. Don't make the mistake of comparing US a country that is always at external conflicts. How many external war has Nigeria fought since independence? Look at vehicles, artillery, welfare of officers everything horrible.
The same country used 25bn and 39bn to renovate VPs and Conference centre while allocating 10bn for securing her porous borders. That's another height of corruption.
Account for whatever you have first to justify asking for an increase.
Lastly, how will he see and contact this village people to come process the cassava? That means he will be doing this business in the village and not inside town?
Depends on the location of his farm. There are people who fry garri. Just enquire around. They're more and cheaper in the villages. Village farming is better and cheaper but selling the garri in town will give more money.
dsnet: The ZTE Blade A35 was announced and released in October 2024 as an entry-level Android smartphone with an 80 Euro price tag. Here in Nigeria, it is currently on sale at Konga with a ₦68,400 price tag. Which makes it kind of a big deal.
That discounted price from a regular price of over ₦100,000 is what makes it really sweet. This makes it the most affordable smartphone we have seen in recent times. being a 2024 device, it is not one of the latest smartphones in the market now, but it is not exactly dated. If you are looking for an affordable smartphone, it is something you should consider.
Read up more specs on on Mobility Nigeria or watch the unboxing video below to see what you get for the discounted price.
Love800: So, is it the garri he will start selling to make profits?
How and who is he going to sell the garri to?
See wetin you dey ask 😂. Garri is one of the most popular food in this country nah. If he bags the garri, he can sell to traders in the market or sell to consumers directly. He will sell faster to market traders. They can buy as many bags as long as price is good. As for storage, he can store in his house
Better dey that cassava o. He will organise and pay some village people to process to garri. He'll make better money from the garri than selling the harvested cassava. Starch is another stuff but I prefer garri
binary123: With 500.000 I don't care the nature of the business, provided I can make 20.000 daily profit from it, with my capital still intact.any such business ideas please share.
All ideas are welcome.
Add 5k to that 20k and it'll be 5% return daily. It may be unrealistic and put you in pressure. It's risky too. Whatever you need to do, make sure your capital is safe. I better plan on getting X2 or X3 of that in a year than taking risk. Look at food storage especially palm oil if you're in the South south or south east. If you have secured land, plant cassava and plantain. Target yearly profit and go for capital security
ALTERNATEID: The US, UK, Jordan and Saudi should stop assisting them to take down Iranian missiles and let’s see how far they can go.
See, the earlier there is a ceasefire, the better for everyone. Once Iranian allies like Russia, China and North Korea enters the war, everything will change. Both Israel and Iran may end up as rubbles.
Russia and China ke 😂 Like you don't know Russia is a Jewish enclave and China doesn't meddle in wars outside their territory. As for North Korea, those ones will spend their energy keeping their own.
Now talk about the allies of Israel 😂. One thing about the Jews is they've been fighting steadily since decades and always ready for war. They have the best modern day spy network. You should know they're fronting for CIA for top secret missions. Wonder why Egypt, Jordan, Saudi and co are their allies now instead of enemies? They've taken over Nazi Germany structure. Remember when Putin accused them. They're Jews and have advanced fast
benuejosh: this problem started towards the end tenure of Obj. Ortom was the one who criminally as alleged fueled this issue that has become what you are seeing. It started with our traditional rulers and that is where it started. So even if state of emergency is declared, untill the root cause is addressed, it will continue.
A state of emergency will reduce the killings then they can have time to solve the root problem. Is it not the same Ortom that's freely walking about with Wike? So He and others involved can't be dealt with? FG is proactive tackling whosoever opposes them so can't touch the sacred cows.
The blood of people shed so far can't be silent and go unpunished. Severe Judgement is coming! It's just a matter of time.
benuejosh: I am done reading some comments and of a truth, Alia has failed and not just Tinubu for those of you who are sentimental and want to be political about the issues in Benue. Those speaking against Tinubu are mostly those whose party came third in the presidential election, they have accused Tinubu but failed to condemn the act of the State governor who is alleged to have sent police to tear gas peaceful protesters and thugs to beat up people as alleged.
Alia got to government only to wrestle power with heavy weight politicians in the state than focus on government and administration. We feel he is better off a priest and handle the administration of a parish than a state.
Since this issue started only this year, he has all along being playing politics with it and accusing those politicians in Abuja for fueling killings in the State. He has been told by everyone (both LP, PDP, APC, youths, women and party loyalist) to mention those people and up till this moment no name has been mentioned.
Could it be another strategy for an increase in security votes in the state?
Alia as a governor needs to come out clean on this issue and address the Benue people concerning this killing.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Enough is Enough ke 🙄
So Tinubu can't declare a state of emergency in Benue despite the genocide because it's APC yet can declare same in peaceful Rivers state over a pipeline?
That means the APC led government don't value the lives of people in Benue. They prefer focusing on Israel, Peter Obi and 2027 elections.
So you want him to speak bad of Tinubu because He's in LP or since He said good about Tinubu, he's jumping to APC 🙄🙄
That's the best way to play the game and the Easterners are getting it right. Same thing Soludo did. Play to the gallery with the Federal and remain where you are.
The East will play the game. They will harness the Federal to their advantage and retain their path for a greater future.
MrHandsome2013: I recently sold my family plots of land and I received 5m. I am 40 years old with HND
No wife, no kids , no job. Only 5m is all I have . I need your advice
Well my advice for you is contrary to the opinion of others. Don't make the mistake of starting a new business you don't have experience in. You're not going to do trial and error with 5m. If you're to start a business, lock that 5m in fixed deposit or something and learn the business from scratch till you get experienced in it. Remember the cost of business is not just goods and services.
Back to New Zealand, 5m can take you there if you have your POF sorted out already. However you need to know you'll spend on flight, accommodation and upkeep in your first months before you get a seasonal job. At 40 years with nothing to show for it, you need to work on yourself to achieve something one at a time. New Zealand offers you that opportunity. Go to a New environment, work hard and save more money, work towards getting a PR and better employment, marry there and start a family. You will need more than 5 million unless you can adapt within budget which I doubt you can. Be warned, no follow Travel Agent mouth go waste 5 million for Short term travel visa stamp. If you do that, you need to find money for other expenses. If you must travel, let it be genuine and do it yourself to save costs.
However if you decide to do business, keep that money, go to another cheaper location and learn a good business from scratch for at least a year to know the good and bad. You may think 5m is big but it's not when you start doing expenses.
You might also need to do spiritual and mental deliverance to get you out of what kept you in your condition at age 40
fineeyez: Hi, I need some help figuring out something I’ve been contemplating.
Due to some financial difficulties, I have to relocate and I’m looking for a place in Nigeria that’s very affordable in terms of rent and general cost of living. One of my top priorities is reliable electricity and good network connectivity, as these are essential for my work and daily life.
My budget is quite limited—less than ₦100,000—so affordability is crucial.
So far, the options I’m considering include:
Osogbo, Osun State
Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Gboko, Benue State
Abakaliki, Ebonyi State
If you have any suggestions, insights, or recommendations about these places—or anywhere else that might fit my criteria—I’d really appreciate your input.
Thanks so much for your help!
Remove Uyo and Abakiliki as they're far above your budget. Would have suggested North if not for insecurity
mrfizy: Good evening great people. I have been finding it very hard to feed lately and I please appeal to anyone that has a connect to any quick job(menial hustle) in Uyo that could help me at least get a meal while planning the next course of action for my life. I will really appreciate.
DeLaRue: There is no other country in the world where people obsess needlessly about small movements in their currency.
The Naira has been very stable since before the beginning of the year, and this year so far, average volatility has been around 2%.
That's a solid performance that has driven currency speculators into redundancy. Speculation is mostly dead.
Every currency moves either way. What's important is the movements should be relatively small. That's where the naira is right now.
The CBN has done an excellent job of making the Naira stable.
You're of men most miserable if they don't give you an LG chairman slot for your work. If you're been paid peanuts, you're useless. If you're paid well or given a good position, kudos and continue doing your asslicking job
isaaclech: Imagine… campaigning for Tinubu, with this hardship . You no get eyes.. I wonder weytin you come talk for south
You don't understand. Everyone wants to share the national cake Baba is distributing. Cake 🍰 no dey finish o. If others before him shared bits, Oga Bola will share big sizes 😂
