A DAY WITH THE PROPHET FOR TODAY(30th Safar, 1439AH/19th November, 2017):- "Shaddad bin Anus reported that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said: A wise man is the one who calls himself to account (and refrain from doing evil deeds) and does noble deeds to benefit himself after death and the foolish person is the one who subdues himself to his temptations and desires and seek from Allah the fulfillment oh his vain desires." Tirmidhi COMMENTARY ON HADITH:- This Hadith highlights the importance of the accountability of one's self. Mere desires which are not coupled with practical efforts are of no avail because Allah grants reward on good deeds and not on yearnings and desires which are not supported by noble actions. Wallahu Ta'Allah Aalam. |
May Allah increase your knowledge. |
we have to respond positively in our difficult times (everything comes from God either good or bad) |
A DAY WITH THE PROPHET FOR TODAY(28th of Safar, 1439AH/17th November, 2017):- Abu Hurairah reported that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said: Allah says: I have no reward other than Jannah for a believing slave of mine, who remains patient for my sake when I take away his beloved one from among the inhabitants of the world." Bukhari COMMENTARY ON HADITH:- Children, wives and parents etc, are the dearest people to everyone. It is a great sign of faith to accept their death as the will of Allah, to bear their loss with patience. Wailing and saying nonsense things show weakness of faith. The reward of patience on such tragedies is Jannah while the result of impatience is displeasure of Allah. May Allah give us his Sobur. Aamin Wallahu Ta'Allah Aalam. |

rafa9:I said some of our friends that were shouting money! money!! before starting a family then ... they find it very difficult to start their own family now because they are yet to get the money now and age is no more on their sides. child rearing requires a lot of attention. in the next twenty years they are already old. |
rafa9:May God continue to direct our affairs. some of our friends that were shouting money money money before started their own families they find it didifficult to now. some traveled to Germany, some are in Lagos still running about to make ends meet. |
dingbang:Things were equally hard then, after wasted two good yrs writing aptitude tests from one multinational company to another (2001-2003) ranging from UTB, Arthur Andersen and Erngst and Young test at Victoria Island lagos to Chevron test at Gbagada Lagos, Total test at P/H city to Geo science work at Tundun Wada jos. I actually passed some of the tests to interview levels then I decided to go for my master degree in geophysics combining it with 5,500 naira job. After the msc I was contemplating on what to do then I came across this Robert Mugabe wise words "when your salary comes in time you eat chicken. As the ssalary reduces you eat product of chicken (eggs) and subsequently you begin to eat chicken's food ( maize and millet), and finally when salary is finished, you become chicken itself, spending your time walking around just looking for what to eat" I opted for entrepreneurship.I actually bought the land in 2013 finished it up in 2014. |
I opened this thread in order to encourage a guy that is planning to start a family with 35,000 naira salary. I started my owm family in the year 2003 as a young graduate with a morally upright and understanding lady then (now wife). We started our family based on understanding, adequate planning and above all prayers was key and it is still key in our day to day activities. The planning started with number of kids, we make sure that the age difference between the first born and second born is seven years. The first born is about to write WAEC now while the second born is in pry 4. The age difference between the second born and our last born is eight years . The last born is just eight months old. The saving aspect of it my wife is not the type that ask for designer this -designer that or natural hair that cost 35,000 Naira on monthly basis we. practically save a lot. By special grace of God I now buy all these moderate natural hair like (Brazilia, passion, Peruvian) for her because I can now afford them. In addition to this I spend 34,100 Naira on layers mash (fowl feed on weekly basis and 85,000 naira on durante fish feed on monthly basis. we moved to our house 3-bedroom flatt in june 2015 (pictures attached) In summary a guy that is planning to start a family with 35,000 naira salary must not go for a slay queen that Will be demanding for a designer this - designer that or expensive hair that cost 35k at the initial stage or else the marriage will crash like MMM. Finally, my regards to all hardworking ladies/women around because a good lady/wife is an investment while a bad lady/wife is a bill. May God continue to bless all the morally upright lady/woman. dingbang : Why do we just compare 2003 with 2017... Things were equally hard then, after wasted two good yrs writing aptitude tests from one multinational company to another (2001-2003) ranging from UTB, Arthur Andersen and Erngst and Young test at Victoria Island lagos to Chevron test at Gbagada Lagos, Total test at P/H city to Geo science work at Tundun Wada jos.
