Lol @call of duty...all things been equal Pere & Elizabeth should get the judges & contestants' votes but those contestants can't be trusted(threat eliminators). If Pere gets the public vote, Lizzy is still likely to get saved compared to the vice versa of the equation.

I'm almost still under the spell these contestants cast on me tonight. It has taken words from me. I'm just astonished!

As if it was arranged, the performances came in an ascending order. After Eli set the stage, every other performer took the game 'A' step further. I could tell the music legends were proud of what you guys did with their songs.

The last two performances are performances I won't mind paying some crisp white naira notes to watch. Kitay! Kitay! Kitay! Na small thing remain tears for come out from my eyes. Very small thing! What a story you shared! I didn't just see an act but I read a whole meaning behind the story. I saw myself in the 70s tonight. I did. I saw myself carrying a placard. Kudos! Kudos!! Kudos!!!

Judges should've placed Kitay & Okiemute on holiday after last sunday and automatic ticket to the finals. They are like musicians to me already not contestants. They shouldn't be dragging position with anybody mehn!!

No matter the song, complexity, bla bla, they just keep killing it shaa choi!!

I tell u, those two re xtremely good. Jst remembered hw d judges told kitay to sing again b4 entering d academy to b sure. They wldnt ve imagned he'll b dis good.

Can't think of a better way to describe what that girl does when she gets on stage.
Can't think of a wrong note. Killer performance as usual. Girl on fire. Hat off.

The Winner situation may have some people riled up but ill say she's begining to show little, minute "kinkini" signs of growth.
She's far from consistent though but she's a fighter.
Was her display enough to take her to that safe spot? Let's just say the other contestants inability to come out hot and smoking, left the spot open.

MIRABEL
Where do Broken Hearts Go by Whitney Houston
When you are given a song originally done by an iconic artiste nicknamed "The Voice", of course, the pressure no go be here.
Ill give mirabel marks for her continuous growth in the show performance-wise.
She was however swallowed by the song despite her valiant Efforts. Might be going home next week.
But make-up dey transform women o. See as she shangge finish. Fine geh.

Dapo- Liberian Girl by Michael Jackson.
Given his vocal texture, if there's any to give us that "MJ nostalgia" its Dapo.
Would have sealed his place in d finals with a dope display but we got another dab, lazy one.
Dapo has sadly consistently failed to live up to the bar he set when he gave us his stunning rendition of Labyrinth's "Jealous".
He needs to get serious, realize that thousands vied for that career-making position he's been given, and discover where he can take his vocal abilities to, and project more. Its a singing competition, man. That song wasn't beyond him at all. He could hav smoked it but he let it slip through his fingers.
He needs emegency coaching on performance. A simple MJ nod or kick at least once, wouldn't have killed anyone.
Kid wasn't believable. Go to Kitay or Okeimute for tips on how to immerse oneself in a song or pack ur bags.

Eli- Different colors by Lucky Dube.
Why do I always have the reflex urge to cover my face when ever he attempts to dance.
His lack of rhythm on stage is becoming a cause for worry.
The big dude with a big voice needs to look for a way to lessen his apparent awkwardness on stage and try to let himself go on stage.

Pere- Searching by OJB.
Love his silky-smooth voice but his stiff ways on stage reminds me of the evicted contestant, Solomon.

I'd also like to see him get out his comfort zone, and take more risks with the songs he's given. That's where creativity comes into play.
We see snippets of his personality in the house but he climbs on stage and it disappears.
We've gone past the stage where someone gives us a spot-on karaoke session.
He will be saved next week but probation is wher he should be right now.
It might help him discover that which can make him a threat on the show or he'll always play second fiddle to Okeimute and Kitay.

Elizabeth- No Woman No Cry by Bob Marley.
Did she forget the words? What happened there?
Its safe to say she handed her 'safe' position to Winner with that misstep.
You expect her to escape probation after that hitch? I think not.
Perfect opportunity for her to turn the race for the crown into a three horse race but it just went with the wind.
Decent performance though. She'll make finals but she has to thread carefully from here on if she's thinking of winning or going up the runner-up ladder.

Based on some facebook comments i read, the voting this week will be special LOL! #TeamElitay is torn. Votes will be split btw Pere & Lizzy or given to Lizzy alone. Some of Kitay's fans are pledging allegiance to Lizzy their Firstlady . They claim they voted Pere last week but this time, them wan answer the call of duty & their Chairman needs their help

D judges decided to save based on today's performance n consistency. I get y Okiemute n kitay got saved but 4 Bibie to call winner consistent was completely wrong tho she tried today.
For top six, we ve kitay, okiemute n winner already. Eli has a slot there, being d only Ghanaian (he myt b saved by eida faculty or judges). Nw it will b up to Pere n Elizabeth to clinch d remaining two spot.
I believe if w. Africa Doesn't vote for Elizabeth, d constestant who aren't on probation will Definitely pick her (her chairman dey there na)

Very true. Dapo over Oluchi & Winner easily. Made it obvious/seem as if the judges have that agenda for her. Check her face yesterday she couldn't believe it that she could be saved by them. She gave a tired ass performance.

Winners performance was boring yesterday & didn't deserve saving I said it here yesterday while watching. However it's a singing competition. Will they rather choose Yusuf who can't sing over Winner who we all know is vocally sound? It's possible yesterday was just a fluke cos he hasn't convinced judges after several chances that he can sing. Or Oluchi who messes up on Sunday but comes to do the right thing on Saturday? What happens if he messes up a song next week wouldn't they regret their decision? I mean it's a gamble lots of things/questions to consider here.

I agree with Gara or someone who said they're trying to push her to make it seem like they didn't waste their decision of keeping her.

I was really angry when Steve & Gabriel were evicted & I mentioned it here. They didn't deserve probation at all and also deserved their chance to be saved instead of Oluchi and whoever was picked that day.

Yea, I said dat b4, n i agree wit u abt their choices because dey cldnt ve picked yusuph over winner. However, even if dey had any reason nt to pick Oluchi, dey shdnt ve picked winner first. That is the performance that gets me confused when people on this thread say he can't sing! The hate was beginning to annoy me. Fine, he is far from the best vocalist, but that semi final shows he's got something and doesn't deserve the derision he gets. I just think he got confused in the house, he was trying too hard to prove he can do other genres but I love his attitude. He confessed he was even surprised he got this far. His attitude will surely help him. For those saying better singers have gone home, it's not as if those ones were even in the top five contenders, well maybe Favor, so I don't understand the fuss.

I don't think hate has anything to do with y pple are complaining abt him. I was 1 of d pple complaining sef, nt because I hated or didn't like but because he wasnt as good vocally as others dat had to leave e.g steve, favour, Gabriel, solomon. These pple where beta vocally, yet dey left b4 yusuph.
D issue for me is dat during d auditns, yusuph was among those I was eyeing and wishing to get into d academy. But, his first performance and subsequent ones killed dat love and brot abt d qtn wat is he still doing there?
In my opinion, d academy did nt improve yusuph cos his voice deteriorated after entering d acade
