Any LL.M prospective candidate in the house?. Please what is happening so far? |
Mod please close this thread. It is annoying to read that some 'nnpc obsessed' job seekers are still dreaming about being called up. |
@Callertune, please can you tell if LLM Form is out and how best to obtain it. Your swift response will be most appreciated. |
Otuabaroku:@Otuabaroku, it was really a bad experience for me. I have not fully recovered from the shock. The difference between what I was asking for and what the company was offering was just 1m. I was on a verge of landing this job when it was taken away from me. Fair enough, the salary that was offered was far better than my present remuneration but because the job responsibilities are somewhat enormous I.e. combining two other secondary roles in addition to my primary role , and I needed to get a fair deal hence my insistence on a improved remuneration. I needed that job so badly to move away from my present job but it suddenly eluded me. God's time is the best sha. |
I had a terrible and unforgettable experience couple of months ago. I scaled through 3 stages of interview with a stockbroking firm only to get to salary negotiation and I lost the job. I was asking the company to pay me an improved remuneration a little above what they offered and I thought we were still negotiating only for me to be told that the job has been given to the second person in line for the job who apparently asked to be paid less. It was indeed a terrible experience. What I have learnt in all of this is that as a job seeker never set or insist on unnecessary high remuneration beyond what is reasonable. For me, I was trying to get the best out of a net pay but it cost me the job. In the face of gross unemployment in the country, no employer would want to dwell too much on salary negotiation when they know that they can easily get a candidate for the same job for less. In all, I think the job was not meant for me even though they considered me as their first choice for the job. |
Hi fellow Nlanders. I have just downloaded the popular quick teller app with an intention to carry out my personal banking and other transactions via the platform. But a little bit skeptical about the safety of the platform. Can anyone share his or her experience on this?. |

Presbulg: Make una do trousers follow joinThis is like an in-road into making comprehensive stainless clothing. Hope it succeeds. |
dayo4: very interesting, so let's wait to know when it will be commercially availableThe shirts would be on sale online beginning from May, 2014. |
If you're clumsy and constantly spilling food down yourself, or just lazy and don't like washing your clothes, a student has invented the answer to your problems - a T-shirt that is impossible to stain. The tops can resist any spills and splashes including Coca-Cola, tomato ketchup, mustard, milkshakes, beer, ink and even red wine. The clothing is made from polyester, which has been infused with a combination of chemicals that make it resistant to water. Despite this, the T-shirts are said to feel ‘no different to any other items that could be found in a clothing shop.’ University student Patel from San Francisco made a prototype using a spray-on chemical, but realised it would only last for one wash. He then began looking at ways to incorporate the technology into the fabric. He created a fabric that has the nanotechnology bonded to the fibres on a microscopic level. This means they won't irritate the skin. According to Patel: ‘Most liquid molecules will not be able to touch the fabric because of a microscopic layer of air that forms between the liquid and fabric. ‘This is because the fabric is layered with billions of silica particles. Water based liquids will form a 150 degree sphere and roll right off! As a result, this barrier protects your shirt from potential accidents.’ After testing his method, the business student created a page about the invention, named Silic, on crowdfunding website Kickstarter. He has already exceeded his target of around $20,000 (£12,250), before the campaign closes on 26 January. The shirts are expected to be on sale online from May and will cost around £30. According to Patel’s Kickstarter page, there are certain steps wearers have to take to make sure the T-shirts stays waterproof. These include not using fabric softener in a machine wash, no bleaching or washing with colours and no ironing. Patel also advises wearers not to dry clean the shirt. To reactivate the water repellency, the T-shirt must also be put through a tumble dryer on a low heat at least once every three washes. Patel said: ‘I started the project a year and a half ago after looking at making smart clothing.‘I wanted to try something different and I had heard about Hydrophobic spray, which is a spray that is completely water resistant. ‘I thought about putting it on a T-shirt but when I was making a prototype after a while I became very light headed and I realised it may not be safe to use. 'I also realised that if I were to put this on clothing, it would wear off after just one wash so it wouldn't be sustainable. 'To make it safe and last longer, I put the technology into the polyester of the T-shirt while it was being made on a nanoscale, molecular level. "The T-shirts we have now are completely safe and will last for up to 80 washes, so you get around about two year’s worth of wear out of it.' (Culled from www.dailymail.co.uk) How credible and sustainable is this invention?. Yet it could a stunning innovation of all time. Your comments....!!

Osyxcel: If it'll be activated on impact, then it's a fail. It has to be activated before the impact....just as your automobile airbags gets activated before actual accident. *SMH* |
Osyxcel: Not only that. So many questions.Just like the automobile technology, the airbag in the casing only gets activated or inflated upon impact with a hard surface or contact. How does your vehicle recognize that an accident is about to happen and for the airbag to go off?. It is only upon impact. Simple as ABC. |
Hi guys, where can i get Phantom AIII in Lagos?. Is it even in the market yet?. How much would it cost?. Thanks. |

@ op...this property is largely under-priced for such a location. I'm sinister about this sale. What about his children and relatives?. And is the place (as shown in the picture) currently tenanted?. In any case, we can have a deal if it can go for N 12 MILLION subject to contract and all legal formalities. |
caseless: Na today, no b dat story wey we don hear b4-abi na anoda brazillian 'virgin-ashawo' wan pull stunt again? Fawk virginity! Dem yakpa for my area; wat's so special about it?This is a new story bro. What amazes me is the hype and publicity given to this trade. You mean virginity is publicly auctioned in your area? Can you mention the area?. |
Wonders shall never end they say. The story of Catarina Migiliorini, a Brazilian has added another surprise to the never ending stories of people involving themselves in most astonishing and bizarre ventures. Catarina allegedly auctioned her virginity in an auction bid filmed in a documentary by an Australian organisation for the sum of £485,000 but claimed that the auction was never consummated as the prize was not paid by the highest bidder. Against this background, she is offering her virginity again online to the highest bidder for as low as £60,000 but hopes to realize a whooping sum of £930,000 from the auction sales (when eventually consummated). She asserted that she was duped by the filmmakers and that she was never given the money a Japanese man paid for her purity last October. The original auction made Miss Migliorini a minor celebrity in Brazil and she posed for Playboy in her native country and Argentina. 'After being featured by so many media outlets in so many countries, I decided to actually auction off my virginity,' she explains to The Huffington Post regarding her decision to yet again sell her virginity. Miss Migliorini previously said she wanted to give 90 per cent of the final auction sale price to a non-governmental organization constructing modern houses in her southern home state of Santa Catarina. However, as she claims never to have been given the money - nor lost her virginity - the organisation has yet to receive her help. In October last year, Natsu, 53, a Japanese millioniaire fended off strong competition from American bidders Jack Miller and Jack Right, and Indian big-spender Rudra Chatterjee, to secure a date with the physical education student - who said she would use the cash to build homes for poverty-stricken families. The auction was supposedly part of an Australian documentary entitled Virgins Wanted, in which Mr Sisley would explore the lives of Miss Migliorini and Alex Stepanov, a male who auctioned his virginity for $3,000. But when Miss Migliorini went to meet her winning bidder, Natsu, in a Sydney restaurant, she claims that he didn't match the description Mr Sisely had given her, and insists the pair did not have sex. She also claims Mr Sisely did not cover her traveling expenses, or give her the £485,000 paid by Natsu; and she now believes that 'Natsu' doesn't exist, and that the auction was simply a ploy to gain media coverage for the documentary. 'I agreed to go along with [the auction], because Justin said it would be the best way to draw attention from the media about the project,' she said. Mr Sisely, who first announced the documentary in May 2010 and said it would conclude with both of the virgins having sex, denies her claims. 'We have the footage to prove otherwise,' he explained. In a bid to avoid prostitution laws, Miss Migliorini was to be 'delivered' to her buyer on board a plane between Australia and the U.S. - being interviewed before and after the sexual act. The intercourse itself would not be filmed, said Mr Sisely, and Natsu would retain a right to be anonymous, without his picture appearing in the media. Both Migliorini's original claims of virginity and this time around have been treated with suspicion by medical professionals as it there is no foolproof way of telling if a woman is a virgin. Miss Migliorini signed up to the project three years ago when she saw an advert by Thomas Williams Productions looking for a virgin to film. What is this world turning into ?. I hope our girls would not start this someday soon.

I hope this lads would watch it. Their team work is still suspect and lacks coordination. A good team would not lack these especially when you are playing a country like Sweden that could spring surprises. Wish them a successful outing come tomorrow. No predictions on this. |
tundesanusi: it might be a network issue because the problem is not from netque server as enquired from the office today, i am even working on the site as i am posting this information, please, keep on trying. you can only obtain the scratch card from pg school and probably, GT bank in ife or Oshogbo branch . The scratch card is not available outside ife oooo.So try to get a contact in ife or you travel down to ife to purchase the scratch card or pay through the ATM master card if the network goes through. The required supporting documents are degree certificate, o level certificate, transcript, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate as applicable.Thank you. |
tundesanusi: If you have an easy access to internet, night browsing or early morning is the best time to process the application . e-payment option could be an issue so i would advise you to get a scratch card from pg school. then get in touch with your preferred referees to obtain their active e-mail address and phone number. if you can follow these instructions. there should be no issues in filling the form within shortest period of time and get it submitted. You still have between now and October ending to fill your form, submit it and process your supporting document. So, what are you waiting for?Thank you for the information. However, my major headache is that the apply.oaunetque.com link is not going through at all. It is really frustrating and time is of the essence. Also, how do i obtain the scratch card when i don't have a contact at the pg school or are the cards sold at any designated banks?. Please can you explain further what sort of supporting documents would likely be required for the application?. Thank you in advance. |
Emperor_007: The list seems accurate to me.Seconded... |
Promhize: What is this one saying, oga here is not where to practise your economics lessonsOde...does my comment look like HEBREW to you?. Read the overriding concept for measuring what qualifies a country as happy country or happiest country from the post. GDP per capita is one of them. |
Danhumprey: This data is wrong! Please let's have your own independent yardsticks to buttress your assumption. Have you considered and juxtaposed our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) with the Per Capital Income of the citizenry?. |
Imagine the likes of Libya, Pakistan, Jamaica and Algeria being happier countries than Nigeria. Corruption and bad governance will not let us have good things of life in this country. Hope our leaders are reading ![]() |
Please house i also want to apply for my LLM but just started processing my transcript. Hope i would not be caught up with this time frame?.....and btw the website seems to be ineffective to get the processes started. Please tundesanusi any advice on how i get this started seamlessly?. Thank you. |

Nigeria is suppose to be among the 20 most happiest people in the world. After all,we are the only country whose citizens are "suffering and smiling"(to borrow Fela's song lyric).
