Memphis357: We saw how former U.S. President Joe Biden chose to step away from the presidential race when his degenerative health made it clear he could no longer offer his country his best. That withdrawal of personal ambition was a rare and luminous act. It was a demonstration that the collective good must outweigh personal desire, and that no one man's legacy is worth the cost of poor governance.
Here in Nigeria, our inept Tinubu whose age and health records remain shrouded in mystery is refusing to take a bow. A man visibly worn and tired, yet clinging to the stage. A man summoned to address the electorate who, upon mounting the podium, proceeded to lick the microphone in what could only be described as a bizarre attempt to test whether it was working. A man whose public addresses are routinely inaudible and indiscernible and who, since forcing his way into office, has refused to grant live press interviews because he knows the record of his stewardship cannot survive interrogation.
I listen to his ego-driven, uninspiring speeches and wonder how any clear-eyed Nigerian can support this man's continued self-deception and his conviction that he still possesses what it takes to govern a nation of over 200 million people. Like former President Buhari, who had no faith in Nigeria's health system and routinely flew to Britain for treatment of an undisclosed ailment, Tinubu is treading the same path while our health sector is starved of funding and left to stumble along on whatever meagre allocation survives the politics of the budget.
I believe those supporting Tinubu are not doing so out of patriotism. Many are invested in the corrupt status quo, a system deliberately designed to allow criminal networks to thrive while hardworking Nigerians break their backs paying predatory taxes that never return to them as infrastructure, opportunity, or dignity. The taxes flow upward, funding the luxury of a ruling class that has made an art of public theft as we currently witness.
We cannot continue to reinforce failure by pretending that Nigeria is fine. We must rise collectively, at the polls and reject Tinubu and his lieutenants before the cost of their misrule becomes irreversible. You re funny Have you listened to Peter obi interview. When you talk of intelligence, obi, does not sound like one. |

We know the 6million is rigged votes. |

VaselineCrew: They rejected GEJ with PHD, when dollar was $1= N180, fuel was N100 and Nigeria was becoming the top economy in Africa
When you tell them about GRV that went to MIT, they belittle MIT and call him "Chinedu", not minding that most of the technology they have now can be credited to MIT research.
So in 2015, Nigeria said, instead of a PHD guy, lets have a cow herder.
Gosh, some of you are "special" You should be happy Lagos rejected chinedu. Take him to anambra to implement his MIT experience, after all he has both Yoruba and igbo parent and he is qualified to become governor of both state. The guy is more igbo than Yoruba. |

What is certain in 2027 presidential election, President Tinubu can never lose the election.
Opposition only existed online.
Run-up to 2015 PDP and APC have almost same number of senators and house of rep.
But what do we have now APC have 90% of both house, 90% of governors.
That should tell people against President Tinubu, how the election with pan out.
Tinubu till 2031 is a sure stake. |

Are you a descendants of the Pharisees? That he built no school, that obi said education is not for the poor, That doctors went on strike, that he increase school fees more than 200%> Jesus you reference to bought salvation and deliverance. Tell us just one thing that other state emulate from obi tenure as governor. At least we saw how Tinubu and his successors moved Lagos from what it used to be. ( New transportation network, red blue line, light rail, brt) Unity school, new healthcare system, Atlantic city, increased revenue. |

Beautifulday: This is stale. We have moved passed this. Governance is in succession. When you finish, you hand over to the next. That is the reason men are required to acquire a character that is good by which they live their lives so that no matter who gets to lead. Everyone knows where he is leading to even when they are not around.
Leadership is character Why is it always difficult for obi supporters to show us the new anambra he created then. At least let see it, so we can compare how his new Nigeria will pan out. |

AMINDA: The problem with your postulations is that the rest of the South will rather observe voter apathy than vote Tinubu. He never won the South in 2023 and will still not win it convincingly in 2027 even if Obi is not on the ballot. A 3-horse race in 2027 will be detrimental to Tinubu's chances this time. Unlike in 2023 when the North made him President with 5.6m votes. This is why Obi was frustrated out of the LP. He never won, who now won. Guy abeg rest. Nigeria will never elect an 85yrs president. You can take that to the bank. |
