Una go gather Taya.
This country will never know any palpable progress until it's divided into nations or regions along political, economic and social lines.

Tinubu you do this one. grin

North regret helping you to power and now they are grouping and regrouping. You are surely going back to your fiefdom in bourdillon come 2027.
There has always been grouping and regrouping. Even when Buhari came to power, some of those people mentioned in this so called League of Northern Nigeria formed themselves as northern elders to oppose Buhari government for reasons only known to themselves. Secondly, if you closely look at the names in the group, you will see that almost all of them opposed Tinubu's presidential candidacy and therefore this their regrouping is just a rebranding of their earlier failed opposition to him, if at all that still constitutes their aim and objective for the formation of the new group.. thirdly, that Shekarau, the group leader has been a failed politician in the recent past is a well known public fact, and therefore it is not surprising that he wants to bring his friends together and probably some unsuspecting fox of the current administration to relaunch his political carrier comes 2027. But this attempt and method to bargain for power is already a failed mission as far as his traditional opponents and political nightmares like the kwonkwoso, Ganduje Atiku, etc are concerned. Shekarau became a political orphan in the north the day he publicly started antagonizing Buhari who helped him into political prominence. He thought he had arrived and could lock horns with Buhari. Even a more popular Kwonkwoso has been very careful in his ways of dealing with Buhari in public not to jeopardize his political prowess in the region. The only politicians in the north today that are capable and could caused Tinubu his seat are people like El-Rufai, Atiku, kwonkwoso coming together, but not a paper weight politician like Shekarau and a disgruntled s self style elder Yakassai.

Apc is a cancer, look at the best brains Tinubu recruited then he will do a social media show off by claiming to sack them when infact they are doing backdoors settlements.

You can never defend apc and not sound foolish.
You are rather the cancer for not appreciating the fact that the Tinubu government has done well for removing these corrupt officials from his government. If he had wanted to protect them, do you think you would have heard anything about the case? What have you and me done about the inaction of the previous and present governments on many corruption incidences in the public domain? We always make mistake by reducing issue of corruption to a particular political party, individual, or region, while the fact is that all of us irrespective of our sentimental inclination are involved in one way or the other.
Each time the government has couraged to purge out corrupt officials should be appreciated to encourage it to do more.

franchasofficia:
We Igbos do not carry grudges for too long especially when a former Igbo hater or antagonist realizes his or her mistake and turns a new leaf, we forgive and move on.

Obasanjo must have realized his mistakes of seeing Igbos as the bad guys and wanted to correct his lifelong mistakes before he returns back to his maker, just like Theophilus Danjuma and many other retired Northern Generals except the Satan of Daura Buhari who swore to carry his hatred for Igbos to his grave undecided

So leave OBJ alone bra
How is Buhari sworn enemy of Igbo?
Buhari twice made Igbo men his vice in two occasion he pursued his presidential ambition before he won at the last attempt. At each of these attempt the Igbo refused to vote for him. The truth is that if they had voted for him that would have been the shortest way to realization of Igbo presidency. If Igbo were his sworn, do you think he would have even attempted to make them his vice? Rather, the fact shows that the Igbo have decided to make Buhari their sworn enemy for reasons known among the Igbo themselves.
You can't hate someone but expect him to love you back.

Go ask your grandparents to give reasons why their grandparents were living with monkeys in the forest when the North was waxing in civilization. As late as 1920, most Igbo communities were still going naked, only little civilized ones had started using leaves to cover themselves. I enjoyed you going and forcing your father to relate to you the real history of the recent past of your community, then come back and tell us who has been associated with backwardness "since the ancient times." There is hunger in the land and it's our right to make this known by any peaceful means necessary. Also, our leaders that we put in power have the responsibility to listen to us and make life easier for us.

Flop or no flop, the message has been passed across and we hope it puts the leaders on their toes to end bad governance else this would become a trend and there will come a time when the protest will yield far more consequences for the leaders than they could ever imagine.
You said "leaders" but from onset to the tail end of the flop-protest, the protest was against "leader"
The organizers made it to be protest against Tinubu and not bad governance per say.
Till we learn to protest against "leaders", our protest will remain futile effort.
