Fellow nairalanders, i was disturbed from my sleep by 3:55am today Tuesday 13th July, 2010 to write about the menace and corruption of the great OAU {ife}. I finally agreed to write by 4:16am.
The great OAU which was known for academic excellence has now become a full-fledge corrupt university. corruption has eaten deep into the bones and marrows of the institution. No wonder they were no where to be found in the ZAIN AFRICAN CHALLENGE. The corruption saw the daylight and became glaring in the just concluded post UTME. NOW I will prove this!
Fellow nigerians, is it not corruption {or better still extortion of money from prospective students and parents} to sell post utme form for N1000 and then pay N1750 to check for the result. this is ridiculous and simply corruption for an institution of high reputation in Nigeria. How on earth do they want to show good example to the new generation universities. It was estimated that over 200,000 candidates sat for the exam which took place on the 10th of July, 2010 (i stand to be corrected on this). This implies that the money that will be realised by the institution is worth 200,000{no. of candidates} X 2750 {total amount for form and checking of results} which is equal to N550,000,000. Haba! 550 million naira! and this estimate is just for 200,000 candidates. Watch out for another area of corruption which i will show you later. However, pls leave a comment or what you know about the great ife. Let's be frank and sincere.

The problem with some students is that they are too anxious and are too slow to detect a scam. i can say with all sense of responsiblity that the info here about yabatech admission is false. please relax and confirm info before taking action. What is the moderator doing about this scammer!

It is a pity that some members of nairaland do not have human feelings coz i have painstakingly read through many post. At least you have to respect the dead for they will now face judgement but we don't know when we shall be call upon by our maker.

It is embarrassing to see that the present Governor of Lagos state Mr BABATUNDE RAJI FASHOLA ignored the invitation to attend the 17th and 18th convocation of the LAGOS STATE POLYTECHNIC for two consecutive time. this is a slap on the face of the polytechnic. i think this has a political undertune. The governor should not say he has a more important assignment because that will not make sense to me. He always dodge coming to the polytechnic rather he will send someone. What can you say about this?

My suggestion: Anyone who has been in power before from the counsellor to the president should not be voted for in the forthcoming 2011 election.

Dear nairalanders, i want to inform you that the MPCE result for2007/2008 is out. so if you sat for the exam you can go and check it online. I've checked mine and I scored 181. I also wish you guys good score. Isn,t it wonderful? in less than two weeks MPCE RESULT WAS RELEASED I think they deserve recommendation. WAEC should copy from them.
