FUTA is a federal school not a state's so there is no official special waiver for ondo indigene. I'm a futarian. You can ask me any pressing questions but pls let your question be reasonable.

I thought doctors are people who value human lives above money and other material things. Oh, how wrong i was! I thought the first principle in medicine is to value human lives FIRST but i was wrong. I'm beginning to dislike the doctors in Nigeria. They have forgotten the essence of their profession. If they continue to whine what do they want the military personnel to do which believe in obey the last order. If you think you are a doctor then know also that the governor is a lawyer! It will be difficult to win him on constitutional ground. The doctors working for the FG are the most foolish for their solidarity strike.

When militant starts dem go here am. They are putting their eggs in one basket. Lagos is the safest place to do business. Moving out of lagos means you are prone to attack from either boko haram or militant. There are many lagos haters on this forum. Na me say make una state no develop. Even when fg neglected lagos, she is still waxing strong. As long as you do not wish lagos well it can't be well with nigeria.

All those praising the relocation are not deep thinking. Don't you know that Lagos is the fairest place to do business in Nigeria? In Lagos, you are not employed based on tribe. Also, companies in Lagos are well recognised internationally than anywhere in Nigeria. Companies in Lagos make more money than anywhere in Nigeria though they would have to pay tax. Let's watch, and you will soon begin to hear of corruption in NLNG in their new location. If you are deep-thinking you will also know that moving breadwinners of families to a new location could affect the family which is the bedrock of any nation. Finally, a company that does not have presence in Lagos is yet to be financially stable. That means NLNG is about to liquidate.

as i have said, aggregate of 50% is needed for consideration for admission and the cut off mark is based on general performance of the students in that course and the number of students who chose the course For instance last year cut-off mark for admission in some engineering courses like elect elect was 70%.

Webometric has good record in ranking. In fact the VC of my school believes in their ranking. They've got a strong software which they use to rake in data of institutions websites. Their ranking is based on institutions web content.

Any HND holder that is treated like shit in his place of work is because he is not good enough for the job. The only way that a good HND holder can be cheated is in salary and position and nothing more.

Friend, think very well before you choose. If you want someone to employ you then go to OAU but if you want to be self-employed then go to YABATECH. The course you are doing is best learnt in a poly. Forget what people are saying. I'm also a direct entry student in FUTA from LASPOTECH. I was in the same condition you are now in 2010 but i decided to go with FUTA. Let me tell you all those universities used to bombard direct entry students with overload courses which will make you inefficient and ineffective. Your coursemates may be offering 7 courses but you will have to do 10 courses, 3 of which are from lower level courses. This may affect your cgpa in the long run. The truth is that many of those telling you to go to OAU are those who don't know what direct entry students go through in the universities but my point is this: if you want to work with a company go to OAU but if you want to be self-employed continue with your poly then maybe you may go for PGD cos universities curriculum are usually design in such a way that direct entry students will have an extra year except for the very intelligents.

@all. From your comments, i think beaf is someone who is intelligent and skillful with pen but unfortunately he is not applying his gifts to the benefits of mankind and development of his nation. Hmmm. Many people on nairaland forums are the problems of Nigeria. They heat up the polity with fake news and fiction coupled with biased judgements that lack proofs. For those who have been calling me about the form, just relax. You'll receive a flash from me when the form is out. But note that you need to be very prepared for the exam both mentally and financially. Financially in the sense that futa can rush your admission process. During my time, i was admission October 18 and i was ask to pay my acceptance fee on or before 1st of November. Let me also assure you that you don't need to know any body before you can be admitted. I got my admission without lobbying and i believe with hard work and God on your side you too will become a futarian. Let me also say that you should see this post utme as a challenge i study hard to overcome it. Lola, Emmanuel, Ayomide and others who have been calling me, pls be prepared cos i wish you all gain admission into FUTA, the best university of Technology.

Pls don't bother about past questions cos it is computer based and no one has a detailed question just read your books. You can as well come early to the school may be few days to your exams because the students fellowships and mosque will be taken you tutorial free of charge. @yinusa001. You will need 60% in your post utme to get admission. But to say your course is not competitive is not correct because Futa only admit few. If students from other departments have a better scores and there is no space for their preferred choice they may be given admission to departments whose applicants score low. However, the score that will admit you will be based on the overall performance of your fellow applicants. If i were you i will aim for 68% in d putme to have a better chance. 68% is 17 over 25. Be ready for 25 questions for 30 minutes.

Pls don't be deceive, the post utme forms are not out yet. When it is out it will be published on newspaper and posted on futa's website. DON'T CALL ANY PERSON WHO CLAIMS TO BE AN OFFICIAL OF FUTA. members of futa senate are respected people who will not be involved in shady business. Futa community frown at examination malpractices. The test is usually a week long with different departments having their own tests on different days. Just be prepared and commit all to God.
