In another news, my car brake pedal suddenly became soft after replacing some parts of the wheel like linkage, bushing, wheel hub, ball joint. Bled it through the bleeding point on all wheel but its still soft. When the car is off and i pump the brake, it becomes tough to press(normal) but when i start the car, the brake pedal will just go down like a deflated balloon. When driving and i match the brake pedal, it goes down so easily and doesnt apply the brake until i match like twice or thrice. What could be wrong?

Hi sirs, for sometime now, my 2012 crv gives this rattling sound when I start the can in the morning. Just only first starting of the day. Someone said it's the VTC actuator that's is bad and that changing it will only cease the sound temporarily. He further said its Honda issue.

Has anyone gone through same issue? How did you solve it please?

Btw, there is no error code on the dashboard

Hi Gazzuzz.. I have a concern about my 2005 Toyota Camry i4 engine.. The car has been very reliable without giving me any issues since purchase, however, the vehicle shorts oil after say a month of service. By the second month, the dipstick would show the engine oil level as half, sometimes when I travel a lot the oil might drop past the halfway mark, which always necessitates me buying 1 liter as top up. I was using Coastal 5w-30 upon purchase, however, my mechanic advised I use the heavy 20w-50 Mobil Xhp which I used during the last service. however the same case applies with the 20w-50 oil as it has started going down. What advise can you offer me at this point. The vehicle doesn't smoke or leak oil

A 2004 Camry(V6 SE) developed a stiff steering few weeks back; owner checked power steering oil container while engine was running and noticed the hose was responsive, power steering oil container was drained, flushed and oil replaced, no leaks of power steering oil noticed, two wheel alignments have been done, however, issue persists especially at low speeds.
His regular mechanic advised getting a new power steering pump, while another mechanic advised changing steering rack.

Please someone should assist me. I bought four brand new tyres for my car- a Toyota Siena. Factory tyres were 205/60/16 but I upgraded to 215/65/16 but unfortunately the back tyres were touching the struts so I was advised to use 215/60/R16 for the back while the front remained 215/65/R16.

Please will this have any impact on the vehicle? May be my mind is playing games with me that the car is consuming fuel.

Please any negative impact on the vehicle?

I wish to thank everyone for ur assistance so far. AutoElectNg, nurey and all. My vehicle is back to normal, noiseless engine/movement
I had to remove all four shocks that was raised, bought a new replacement, changed the camber, installed new brake pad and viola, problem went away.
Now i know that all the while i've been hating on my vehicle for being too low to the ground and damaging my bumper was a shock problem.
I've never enjoyed this ride before like now, tires r solid to d ground i hardly feel potholes anymore.
Tnx alot esp to nurey, u r the best.
@nurey, i got the shocks at 16k for the two front(belgium) and 15k for the rear(new ones/china)

the reason why the cases are 'suspect' is that the test kit is 300 britsih pounds per unit . they do not have enough in the uk. as for the us - that is a whole different horror story.

we do not have enough kits to test everyone with a cough and a fever. the only hope is that we will be asymptomatic [ idris elba has tested positive, but he has no symptoms per se]. with everything i have read, i am sure a lot of us already have it or have had it. my son was ill two weeks ago- a cough and a nasty bout of diarrhea. we had to admit him. it is not about contracting it, but if it starts to spread, the hospitals will not be able to cope. that is what 'leveling the curve' and the quarantine and isolation is about.

I went to car dealer shop this morning to get this Honda Accord anaconda (2010 model) and he started preaching about how Honda are out of line...how Honda has shaft problem (note he doesn't have the car oooooh �) how Honda usually embarass people...blah blah blah...and he advised me to go for Toyota Camry muscle..that is the best..it is strong(he has the 07 model) it's spare parts is always available and cheap and all the preaching in the old testament...

please I need help...which should i go for

Most cars have peculiar issues, some are preventable , some are inevitable. The issues you mentioned with honda are preventable , the issues with the Camry 07-09 4cylinder are inevitable.

i don't know why Nigerians just like hating Honda, my aunty bought a honda city 2008 in 2009, she used it till I sold it last year. The shaft never pulled out. the only leg issues the car had was the occassional change of linkages and hub. Nothing else.

Hondas are great cars. I will rather get a honda than a toyota, at least for security purpose in lagos.
