You are dealing with a sensitive gearbox without a dipstick to check oil colour and texture.

Please stop being your own mechanic.

usually the Onyibo man will sell the car just before or after expiration of his warranty (100,000miles) you are at that threshold and it is very likely transmission oil has never been changed.

Why will a 2010 Toyota Camry sometimes vibrate when shifting the gear to reverse? It shifts to other gears smoothly. There is a " maintenance required " light on the dashboard. The mileage on the vehicle is just 108,000, and it has automatic transmission.

Vehicle history....

I really don't have much of a history, but a staff of a company I work for in ibadan owns the vehicle, and for almost 1 year he has been asking me to take a look at the car and I have been avoiding him.

Finally he said he wanted to scrap the car for any amount and I said he should halt, Tow the car to the workshop and I will fix it.

car does not start, it's been in and out of a lot of kazeem workshops. Electrical and mechanical issues, I have never seen the car physically I do not know what I am up against.

I don't watch BBN, I was pressing my phone jeje when 1 Oga in the house said his car has DNA identification, I stopped what I was doing to listen to how his car can identify an unauthorised ~~passenger~~ Driver and report back to him via his insurance, he even went on to say, if his car hits a bump his car reports to insurance and he receives a call almost immediately. Abeg can any one enlighten me what vehicle has that system?

Fair enough but i have got no engine related error code on the Yaris though; ofcourse i guess the next you may say is "having no error code does not mean better fuel economy"

driving pattern matters. Terrain matters. Tyres type and size matters, engine oil type matters, suspension modifications matter e plenty

Is it possible that corolla is more economical than Yaris?
