GAZZUZZ, got my very first overheating problem. It looks electrical. The car has been throwing one problem or the other.

This evening returning from work, i just had a dash with another car but to my amazement something quite out of place happened. Fuel needle was very very low but the other needle was above half, i was shocked.

I stopped, popped the hood, with engine still running, a small coolant pipe leading to cold start portion of the throttle body was hissing vapour and has splashed my very old green coolant that has never been drained. I can see coolant all over but no fan blowing nat that high temp. I turned off the engine and returned ignition to on (II). Turned the AC on (engine off) and fans came on. Turned it back off. Started the car and let it idle for more than 5mins while i connected my bluetooth OBD II device. Coolant temp show 113 degrees celsius but no fans. I topped the coolant reservoir with water and drove home blasting full AC as temp dropped to steady 104-105.

Got home and swapped fan relay but no difference on idle. All fan fuse are intact. Note AC blower fuse is ok since AC is blowing.

I have read about fan switch on thermostat housing but cant find any switch there. Am lost now please help.

A guy who fixes gear said the fiber will need change and will cost 30k to fix. I told him to leave it.


Pls, which is the friction plate? Google search hasn't helped me much

You can renew till present and get 'Change of Ownership' letter from previous owner for use temporarily, until you sell.

Car looks low by design, even with R16 tyres. Maybe all Accords were designed as scrapers...

Thanks for your prompt response sir, I have serious love for Honda too but a 2012-2016 Honda pilot is far from my budget how about a 2009- 2010 Honda CRV. Also what is your verdict on the 2007 Toyota highlander

Buy the 07 pilot, but there are models with VCM and models without. Buy the model without VCM

There are 2 types of these pins i have noticed. I hope u noticed too. There are long ones with flat edges and short ones with curved edges(not screw type o). The short ones grips better unlike the long one in your hand.

Especially for that splash shield, you better get the short ones else your splash shield will soon be wasted. My friend lost his slash shield due to the long ones pulling out anyhow.

I want to buy an SUV with 4wd and I have narrowed my search to either 2007 Toyota highlander or 2007 Honda pilot. Please I need your advice to pick the best choice (first time SUV buyer)

My new found love for honda excellent build. Please DO NOT buy an 07 pilot with VCM, the tech was not perfect then, in newer models 12-16 they have perfected the technology.

Good Morning everyone. I have an ordeal here. I use a 2004 Camry with mileage just a little above 90k. I had the 4 shocks changed 2 months ago. 2 weeks after the change it still felt like it wasn't fixed. Took it back to the mechanic and he agreed to change the rear shocks as it was having some strange sounds and unbalanced on the slightest of bumps. He also said something about bushing which he also changed.
Now again after the change the problem still persists and I'm really confused. The rear seems very very unstable and shakes at the slightest bump as earlier stated.
NOTE: The shocks have been changed twice within 2 months so I doubt if the shocks is the problem.
Please I need one or two advice from all. Thanks.

Oga gazzuzz, pls I need or help on this.... my Toyota Prius 2006 inverter synergy motor got faulty and I am currently helpless as mechanic in my area don't known what to do about. looking forward to or suggestion and contributions
