Kudos to the LASEMA.
They need to do more by liaising with the local government unit to do their jobs. Many drainages on most Lagos streets are blocked due to poor sanitation on the part of our people. If real situation reports are posted here almost every part of the city are flooded by now

I know most of you lazy brats are always looking for short and crook ways to make it but it will end in tears for you.
Yes, the young woman that married Ned is a gold digger too but she has given him children which is a win win for both but you these small boys will just waste your productive years servicing an old hag with lots of regrets

There is nothing wrong in digging for gold as long as you are not digging any grave.
How do you know she doesn't have children at 56, when most oyinbos start giving birth at early age.
I know a married man currently in America with this kind of old woman parole since 2014, up till know his 4 children and wife are still struggling in Nigeria. When I saw the wife in April after so many years, I pitied her because she is not looking fine

This man is a sincere politician, he said it all, almost all politicians buy vote in Nigeria that is why they always corner commonwealth resources to themselves to make gain from their investment. It will be very difficult to a poor man to win ordinary counsellor in a ward in Nigeria

Thank God you said the leaders, that is why we should prioritize more on getting leaders who lead by example, the influence from the leaders will do a lot more that trying to change each individuals by yourself, why do you think Pastors and religious leaders have huge followers who behave like them?

It is because the influence happens more from the leadership not the followership, you saying that the citizens should start changing is a harder method than changing the leaders to lead by example....

It is like you telling Muslims to stop praying 5 times a day when their leaders are still doing it...

Or telling Christians to stop coming to church on Sundays and start coming on Fridays when the leaders are still doing it.....

Good leaders will produce good citizens and if you say the leaders are the product of the citizens yes, that is why we should work on getting leaders that lead by example and have good behavior and characteristics....
Who are the people you are planning to get to lead you?

So who should be leading by example, the leaders or the followers?
It is leaders of course but the leadership start from you and I and not the only people in government.
There is one street I passed through last night, each time I passed through the street, I always wonder what will become the fate of the children growing up on that street because both left and right are beer parlours and a brothel in a residential area

Yahoo is just the internet side of fraud, fraud has been since even maybe before independence in Nigeria. So the yahoo part majorly started when internet came to Nigeria, however it has been growing as corruption in governance has grown...
You are very correct.
Average Nigerian is very corrupt because he only thinks about himself. The leaders we have are the product of our society with absolute tendency to oppress and suppress followers and this has been the situation since Nigeria is in existence

Crime › Re: EFCC Arrests 117 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Lagos by Gboom: 9:28am On Jun 28, 2024
Brendaniel:
You are already justifying the action of the EFCC why they manhandled innocent citizens ( innocent until proven guilty by a competent court of law) also violated their constitutional rights, here you are also passing judgment on them already that they are guilty just because you want to defend the government, you can't tell me everybody in the hotel is guilty to get arrested and paraded....

Besides such type of operation require search warrants or court order....

I knew when Tinubu will be sworn in as president we will be seeing this type of things happen more, I told my brothers last year that you will see EFCC raiding boys in hundreds not because they are fighting crime but because of:

1. The money they will make from the boys

2. To make it look as if they are working .

3. To divert attention from Tinubu's governance.

4. To make it look as if the youths are the problem of the country.

I told them that they might also see things like this from news headlines "Tinubu and his crusade against crime" where they will arrest over 500 boys in a single swoop.

The question to ask, is corruption reducing with this style? If the corruption is not reducing in Nigeria then they are using a wrong method.
So, EFCC should not arrest fraudsters because they are not politicians, and they should make any progress report about their activities because it is distracting you?

I wonder how you coordinate yourself in your profession with this level of hatred for President Tinubu

Religion is complex and a sensitive issue to many people...

Just because someone practices a different religion from yours doesn't make it diabolic. Imagine the guy asking her if it's Bible or Koran. So as it's not it makes it diabolical.

African traditions and religions have existed a long time before the arrival of the white man and his religion.

Except she was putting something directly into the food she was selling to the public then people should be free to practice their faith and believe systems and what works for them.

Last I checked there exists freedom of worship as enshrined in the constitution.

Except she is putting things directly into the food she sells then she should be left alone to practice what she believes.

No difference between her and another who sprays anointing oil/holy water in their shop or yet another who scribbles passages from a "holy book" mixes it with whatever and applies it to the shop with the same intent as the woman.

I had to repeat the last but one paragraph for emphasis because I know some people will still misunderstand what I am saying!
You are being irrational here. At least you heard the woman saying she is a Christian.
