Sunday2021: as it ended in 2012 abi? Tribal bigots! 2012 protest or jamboree where people were having fun dancing to different music at Ojota park, and the protest is only in that location in Lagos. This schedule one is never going to be in ojota alone but will spread all over major part of the city. I witnessed end sars protest in Yaba where police had to park their truck and flee when protesters start beating them, that is one of likely ills of this protest coming up. The rate of anger and hunger is very this time around and people are desperate |

Beremx: people who have linked their lines to their NIN was also barred. Infact they constituted the majority of the protesters. Well the anger made people to damage properties. You cannot blame them. People who are claiming they have linked their mtn sim did partial linking. I was in this class and MTN send a link to complete the information up to 15 times before I finally complete the linking. They sent about 4 confirmations to me at interval until final one about 8 hours later. I was ignoring MTN message until GLO barred my other sim for 3 days before going to one of their outlets to rectify. On the issue of anger, masses would like to justify when acting wrong whereas if they would follow the instructions there will be no need for correction |

Portable said he is now okay, and it is only poor people that need to protest.
Meanwhile, this forthcoming protest/looting/vandalism is not against government alone, it is war against the rich by the aggrieved poor people who are bent on scattering what the rich among them has gathered over the years. Do not be deceived, there is nothing like peaceful protest when majority and aggrieved support it. It will surely end in tears, sorrows and death for people among the protesters |

Mad people everywhere. Simple instructions, they cannot obey, MTN and other networks has been sending information to your sims all these while and you are ignoring them thinking nothing will happen. Now, your number is barred, you are now relating to protest.
Glo barred my sim like 2 months ago, I have to their office to rectify it, but MTN I followed the link sent to me to properly link my sim |
Politics › Re: Hunger Protest Begins In Niger State (Pictures) by Gboom: 1:03pm On Jul 29, 2024 |
Salewa97: Hunger protest in Niger State? This is just another avenue for chaos.
When will we learn that protesting without a solid plan only leads to more suffering? Instead of channeling energy into destructive demonstrations, why not engage with the government and demand real change? Protests that turn violent only exacerbate the problem and put innocent lives at risk.
Nigerians should be wise enough to see that protests without purpose are a waste of time. Hunger isn't solved in the streets; it's solved in the boardrooms and through policies that uplift the people. Let's focus on constructive dialogue rather than chaos. It is the common man that will suffer the consequences of this protests because looting will be the order of the day especially in major food markets and suffering continues |

stagger: This is how to do protest. Not just pouring out onto the streets. You know your senators and HOR members. They come home periodically. Express your grievances in a non-violent way. You are a wise man with this your comment. Politicians and the so-called human right activists that are calling for protests are not the real hungry people but are calling for it to score cheap political points. Protests should start from questioning those that represents us in the government before embarking on major one which is very ok when the grassroot protest has failed |

Broveens42: I understand how angry you feel knowing you are underdeveloped, partially caused by self induced myopic thinking or doctrinal influences but it is what it is. I will give you an illustration: A nija man sees dreams about snake before he meets a woman(or other activities) as a bad omen but makes light of a situation when he sees female anopheles mosquito in his dream.
What he doesn't know is; female anopheles is the vector for a parasite that contributes to the top two disease burden in Nigeria; naturally, this should be seen as a bad omen if there's anything like that.
illiteracy is a good conductor of gullibility ~ Broveens42 All your blabbing does not change anything, may be until you receive a big slap in your dream and you see the mark in your cheeky cheek before you will be wise |
