People are often confused about Oduduwa because he seems to overlap with Obatala. This is because they don't understand what Oduduwa is in IFA.

Oduduwa was once a man who saw that there was something chaotic about the world and that his world was in danger. He lived during the 8th-century bce when the Asiatics were rivaling Kemet and Kush for power. This replacement was not pure war, but a balance between peace and war. This is why Oduduwa's name means "Olu Dudu Iwa," or "Black Lord of Balanced Character."

This is the season of Christmas and as the popular saying that says 'Jesus is the reason of the season' but the important question we you need to answer is 'who is this man called Jesus Christ to you'.
This is not a matter of I'm born a Christian, I attend church regularly, I'm even a chorister or a zealous worker in the house of God but a sincere matter of whom the person of Jesus is to your being.
At a point Jesus asked His disciples that same question, who do people says I am? And the replies were varied, some knows him as Elijah, some knows Him as John the Baptist, to some is Jeremiah and some recognised Jesus as one of the prophets. Yes you might have heard so many names Jesus is called but what do you says He is? You might have heard Him called Lord but do you know Him as Lord? Or you're just following the choruses of every other person? The bible says He is prince of peace, but do you know him as that? Jesus asked his disciples but what do you says I am? Then it was revealed to peter that He is the Christ, the son of the living God, note the word "revealed" that means Peter knows Jesus as the son of God and as Christ the saviour by revelation which only comes from God.
The truth is you can not know the person of Jesus Christ by following the crowd, not by being churchy but by eating the word of God deeply in your heart and by personal consecration in prayer and in walking with God in His word. I am on 3 days, fasting and really need a miracle, the harder I pray the more difficult it is to get an answer. Yeah, their are temptations, but when will that time come where good people would at least be fulfilled graciously.

Well bro, that's part of the essence of our faith, remember faith is the substance of things hoped for evidence of things not yet seen, bad things are meant to happen but not for long, take the life of Joseph as an example, he also passed through unpalatable circumstances but joy ends his story because He didn't give up on his God and in his doing the right things.

My little advise to you on fasting is that do not fast under frustration or depression or on ur eagerness to receive something because at the end you may not have the patience to wait for the fulfilment. Keep on praying as you can and keep on believing, time of refreshment is coming.

You can imagine a full fledged man/woman with no deformity sitting at home or attending prayer sessions from Monday to Friday seeking for God's favor for a good job or contract, when he/she hasn't made any effort.

Someone is praying for a good job or contract as you said and you concluded that he or she hasn't make any effort? And how many Christians have you seen folding their hands and legs without doing anything? You just talk blindly because of your unbelief

I'm not saying its practically wrong to pray to God for favor, but we need to set up an action first. God won't hear your prayers if you're lazy.
And don't also think without money you cant start a business. There are many business ideas that one can venture into without money. All it requires is good packaging/presentation and reach out to your target audience.

So what's the problem if someone's first action is to pray? A lazy person cannot even dare to pray before.
