In recent times, 30th May Sit at Home protest ordered by the IPOB has been on the front burner.

Many are angry and many are happy.

As for me, I am both sad and happy.

I am sad over the continues killing of our people in our lands by people who are supposed to be our compatriots.

I am sad that soldiers who are supposed to protect us and inspire patriotism among the younger generation are partners with our detractors.

I am sad that Nigeria as a nation has been partisan in the humiliation of race for decades now.

I am sad that our children who scored 69% in a federal entrance examination were denied admission while those who scored 1% were offered the same admission

Nigeria has left nothing for me to desire her.

On the other hand, I am happy about the 30th may sot at home.

on that day, I and my family will sit at home. we are not compelled by anyone.

We shall sit at home from 6am to 6pm. No work, no school. I shall remind my household our history.

We ere not being killed like this until slave traders came calling.

Mingo Park did not discover River Niger and we were already advancing in Technology at own pace.

I will teach them patriotism. it is inspired and not forced by threats or guns.

So, what shall we achieve in the end?
