Whats up guys. Whats the practical difference between VHDL and embedded Systems Design and what are they each used for? |
The ease of tracking an object located anywhere from anyplace depends not only on the availabilty of the necessary technology but on the proper adaptation and and organisation in the use of the technology. The only way i think someone can can be tracked on the internet is through the IP address. And the IP address can be traced to the ISP which has the address through which the the host and the network on which the host is located can be gotten. It would be easier if the ISP Keeps a detailed database of all its client. |
Hello Programmers. I am a C++ programmer. I have finally made up my mind to go into embedded systems design. What I need now is suggestions or advice from u guys on how i can go about it. If there's anyone who is experienced in the field or know much about it, I'll be glad to hear from you. Thanks in advance. |
yeah c0dec. i can make use of your game engine when u are through, cant i? what do u really program? |

Thanks guys for the the info. I'm actually a game programming hobbyist. I want to play around on a 2D game engine. Solid 2D games can be made u know. But i gonna make a 3D game soon. Still trying to make a nice story. Its gonna be an african traditional game. Its gonna be fun. c0dec, what kind of game engine are u creating?2D or 3D?. I'll like to hear from u again. Thanks. |
Hello fellow programmers. Is there any game programmer in the house? Please I need a 2D or 3D game engine. Thanks in advance. |
Astral travel travel is demonic just as yoga is. I think they are the same thing. When you practise these things you yield your body to demons and you get yourself into trouble afterwards. There are only two types of spirit which the human spirit can be subject to- the Spirit of God or the spirit of the devil. The presence of one precludes the presence of the other. Every believer of Jesus Christ has the Spirit of God dwelling in them and those who do not believe are automatically under the control of the prince of this world- the devil. Come to think of it, once the spirit leaves the body, the body dies. does it now mean that you die and resurrect at will? That is a big no! I'll advice you to stop giving yourself to the devil because he is a destroyer. |
Man, there are lots of big broses here. But i can't stop to wonder why the Nigerian software industry is still relatively unproductive if we have so many "gurus" in the country. I think the answer is "Its not about what you know or what you can do but its all about what you have done with what you know or what you can do and how well you have done it". I honestly am very impressed at the number of talents we have in Nigeria but my concern is the output. I think what determines the reward of programmers is the ability to see what the world needs and the ability to deliver it in the best quality it can be delivered minding less of the time it will take to deliver it, even though time is important. I got to know what Information technology(IT) is in my final year in secondary school. After i left secondary school i went straight into Networking(CCNA). Aftet i finished with the whole CCNA syllabus, I could not do the exam due to lack of dough at that time. So, i had to suspend it. Shortly after, I decided to go into programming to see what its all about- i was so in love with networking that nothing i heard about programming impressed me as much as networking-then i can come back to networking. I thought so far its all about cramming codes, no problem i already crammed "commands" in cisco networking. So i started with C, then C++. At first, my head almost exploded. But due to determination i finally grabbed the whole thing. Thanks to a friend whom i know to be a genius. For the love i have for electronics, my first project was simulating the basic digital electronics properties like the logic gates, ports, flip flop and so on. Then, game programming. I did "Tank" and Pacman. It was fun. Now i write applications with C++. That is the stage i am now. The next step is to learn php & mysql. After which I'll consider Java. I am now deeply in love with programming. I had to break someone's heart- Networking ![]() Though, compared to most people here, I am new to programming. But what i aim for is productivity and quality of output amongst other things. With commitment, we can all do anything we imagine to do. Enjoy yourselves! |
Hey, if you want to program good games in this age, then consider either C/C++ or java. C/C++ very good for PC games while java very good for games on phone. Then you can consider PHP in the long run. PHP will enable your games to be played on the internet. Nothing is easy to learn man. You've got to be determined. Without the passion, you will get tired or discouraged easily. |
Hey, are u a starter in programming? Make up your mind on what programming language you want to learn first. Then we can see how you can be helped. I am a C++ programmer though. |
I wonder what u need Fortran for. Its outdated and i don't expect anyone to be looking for fortran in this age. But i think the problem is from the lecturers who learnt programming with fortran in their days and refused to advance due to laziness. so what they do is to pass on their outdated knowlege to students like you . |
hello, i think its a good idea. Together we can all make something big in different areas of programming. But I'm into C++ (game programming). Talk to me at geebengs@yahoo.com or meet me on line on wednesdays from 4pm or fridays from 6pm. |
Hey codec, could you please send me those materials on game programming too. I am a c++ programmer that just started programming games. You can send it to geebengs@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance. |
what do u really program?
