Bros I'm a breeder stop arguing, Caucasian ears are not short, its you who needs research. All those short ears you see were cropped. Caucasian ears are bigger and fatter than gsd ear. Its like you saying Boerboel tail are short.

The mother is a mix and has high percentage of GSD. The father is ok, so the fault is coming from the mother. Had it been the mother is pure like the father, you would have seen an amazing result. So your guess is right about your puppy.
