Sorry, just seeing this. I haven’t had any food aggression issues with Maya so I really can’t say how to help you with an advice. I can take anything out of her mouth even chunks of meatballs. I’d leave experts in the house to help with a proven way of solving this issue. Thanks

Glad you loved the post. Maya is 1year and few weeks old now and she came on her first heat around November/December. I skipped mating her so hopefully her second heat I will take that step. I really haven’t had time to take her pictures but I have this one which isn’t really clear but I will find a free time to take a good quality picture of her

Yea. I think she has almost reached her full height tho (not sure) but I know her body mass will start building up pretty soon.

I missed her anti rabbies shot when she was about 4months till i got reminded by @Bsquared. Quickly had to arrange with my vet to come give it to her ... lol, Maya kept away from me all through that night .. guess it was the pain or maybe she felt I betrayed her .. lol.

Still just over 7months old. Maya guard instinct is remarkable this days. Lol, so I tried eba and soup and this young lady finished the plate faster than she finishes a bowl of Royal Canin dog food.

Cute dog. But is the collar not too big and uncomfortable for his neck.

Yes I am in Lagos. About the chicken, I just go to a chicken seller close to my house to buy 2kilos of chicken wings or thighs, rinse well and serve. I know you can get cheaper ones around ( chicken head, intestines and legs). I haven’t found any yet even though my pet promised to help find one, but still no show.

Maya is 7months old.. hmm.. never measured the weight and height tho. I’d do that as soon as possible .

Lol.. never used diamond. I started with booster from day one but switched to royal canin when she was 4months old.

Just as predicted... Royal Canin price has increased to about 46k.. . got maya some can food and calcium pack. Also, Looked out for some good hair/fur products and grooming kits. Now I think her feeding is covered for the next one month.

Yes they shared the same grandfather.
But you know, the immediate parents are different, so we are trying to bring back the lost genes through this combo. It is not like they share the same immediate parent

So I have decided to stick with royal canin as she grew to like it after the initial challenge of not eating it . I should be going to the Petshop now to buy her another bag.. I just hope it hasn’t increased in price again. I will keep you posted on my findings . See yah
