When the guy told me about nairaland he said I have to register with an email I told him it as been long I use my email and was unwilling that was when he gave me his acct.
Zoom this pics very well and focus on the name tag. That is my name. The 'A' on the name tag presents Anthony..
And again, what is really holding you from coming to the barracks? Is it transport fare? I can sponsor that.
Just come. |

abiodunalasa: Wow a lot has gone down here o. I have been too busy to respond. Now Oga Gen, let me sit back and give another insightful analysis... One last time.
As for me I don't give a flying f*ck. But it is for the benefit of my fellow aspirants... So they wont fall for WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING. Morning bro. Can you kindly educate me on how to remove my pics from this thread? God bless as you do so. I am still expecting you at the barracks. God bless you my beloved brother. |

odimbannamdi: Compliments Captain, General and prospective officers in the house.
It is said that, it is curiosity that killed the monkey or so. While i applaud Abiodun for his research and intel skills (you will make a fine intelligence officer), i am quite disappointed at the way he channeled it and subtly accused General of trying to attract vain glory to himself.
Before i began to directly address my questions to General, i observed him for sometime and was impressed at how informed he was about the army and how well he did justice to our many burning questions. Even if I had not been privileged to interact with officers from the 3 different officers cadre, i still wouldnt need a soothsayer or clairvoyant to tell me that General is a cracked officer who spent 5years of his life serving jobs at the revered NDA site while most of us flexed in our various universities.
True, i have seen folks in Nairaland create alternate accounts to corroborate claims of their main acct for monetary or egocentric gains. But the pertinent question is, why would General want to do that? To what end? Look at it logically, If he was yet to join the army, that would have been a different ball game altogether (then we could suspect he probably had intentions to organize a fake recruitment racket). But then, from his insider and profound information, he has proven beyond doubts that he was already in the system. What then would he stand to gain if he does that We have intelligent minds here, let us learn to pick our fights because Nairaland never forgets
As for Bintushop. It is really sad how people hide behind faceless forums and deride others. If you meet most of us here in real life, you wont dare speak while we speak. Abi when you went to visit General, he gave you just 5k and you came here drooling and singing praises like a gateman his oga dashed old clothes. What if General decided to deal with you for commanding him here? Nothing would have happened.
General, it was nice having you here. I, for one, have learnt a lot from your contributions here. You have certainly made your marks on Nairaland and in years to come, people will continue to be enlightened by your posts. I wont ask you to continue to stay with us. I think you were beginning to become too familiar with us (which is not very wise in a faceless forum like this), and familiarity is the perfect recipe to breed contempt. You even should have left earlier, when Bintushop was displaying the madness his village people plagued him with.
All in all, we appreciate the little time you spent with us. God willing, i will pay you compliments in my khaki someday. Anytime you come into Lagos, i would be honoured to host you in any of the barracks you lodge in. Please take down your pictures, you have already made your point
Summarily, to my fellow army aspirants (Abiodun, veraiyke, ugo etc), let us keep our morale roof-breaking. The time is shorter than we imagine. An arguable source said the form will be out by March and board will be around August or so. Let us keep getting prepared. As for the languages ish, he told me that the clause is only for serving officers.
#NoGutsNoGlory #NoVictorNoVanquished #GodBlessTheNigerianArmy Thanks bro for this.. If Abiodun would read my earlier posts he will see when I wrote nobody should give any officer or anybody money for help. No officer will ask you for money. Finally bro how can I removed my pictures from nairaland I am not too familiar with the site. So I don't know. The only thing keeping me here is my pics I posted. I showed my coursemate and he told me how risk it is for my pic to be on a social media of this kind. Help me on how to remove it. God bless |

@Abiodun you said bintushop was advertising on the thread. My question is, of what use was he doing that? Or are people getting paid to advertise people on nairaland?
U said bintushop was commentin on most of my posts, I dont think so. If there's anyone here who comment most on my post it's Ugo4u. Or am I also the owner of Ugo4u acct?
I told u to come and meet me to clear ur doubt but I havent seen u. I assumed u were busy. There's a second chance..
@Abiodun whenever you are free to see me. Come to the barracks and ask of Lt T Anthony.
PS: make sure you come when I am avilable.
I will be free next weekend you can come.
It was nice bein on nairaland. Goodbye to you all. I wish you all the best.
PSS: Am not leaving nairaland because of Abiodun o. Never. I left nairaland already before now. I came back because of the calls I receive today from people on this thread.
I am leaving the nairaland because It really isn't a stress relief as Ansah told me... |

Haven't u seen or heard an officer buying training kit for new trainee? Oh u were shocked that I put bintushop in a car.. Was I supposed to see him off via trekin when I have a car? The guy who gave me this nairaland is workin in an oil firm. @Abiodun if transport is the problem I will pay. Just come now am begging u. |

I received calls from over 5 people from this thread questioning my identity.
On 2014 all Army final year cadets were sent to calabar for 3weeks amphibious course. Getting to calabar I met a young girl there we became friends and I invited her for my POP on September. She came with a guy by name Ansah and told me his her brother. She introduced the guy to me and we became friends. He told me how he loved the job and hope to join after he graduates from school. Last here I when on a course in Lag and the guy called me that he was in lagos for a job interview. We met and he asked me how I was coping with the course I came for. I told him I was bored of the same routine everyday. He gave me two websites (Nairaland and Naijapals) he said whenever I am bored I should just visit those sites and read comments that the sites are lively. That was how I came to know Nairaland and Naijapals.
@Abiodun what you did wasn't wrong anyway since we are in a wicked world no one trust anyone.
@Abiodun please do me a favor.
Go to Abacha barracks this evening meet any soldier or officer and him/her where the officer's mess is. Come to the mess you will see me. I will be patiently waiting for you and will be pleased to have you as my Val guest.
But if you are far from the barracks, do me this second favor.
@Abiodun, go to any barracks nearest to you when you get there, meet any officer tell the person to show you any member of 61RC in the barracks. When you are shown the officer, ask him if he knows Lt T Anthony. Whatever he tells you, come to the thread and tell your fellow aspirants. God bless you as you do me any of these favors. |

FOR THE GUY THAT WANTED TO SEE ME.
come tomorrow around twelve hundred hours.
FOR THE GUY THAT WANTED GOING TO OJO.
I spoke with Lt Abor yesterday and he told me he's at Bori camp Port Harcourt. I've informed him that my brother will pay him visit as soon as he returned to Lagos.
FOR THE GUY THAT WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT BEST CADET.
Yes best cadets do have privileges especially in appointments, job assignment and deployment. And if that's your aim. When you go there don't do over sabi o. U will be eliminated.
Guys always ask questions no matter how dumb your questions are. (HE THAT ASKS IS A FOOL FOR THE MOMENT. HE THAT REFUSES TO ASK IS A FOOL FOREVER).
Ask questions. Information is power. If you run short of information you are mentally blind and can't go far. I'll be going for a course shortly at infantry school jaji. Some of my Corp mates won't participate in the course. The are not even aware of the course cause they didn't ask questions. If you don't ask questions you will be limited..
LASTLY. I believe everyone on this thread is a graduate but yet some people here behaves like the never went to elementary. I hate seeing adults acting like kids. When next such happens on this thread I will take the exist door. It seems am even the cause of the childish behavior. Am I? |

shobroy10: Gen speaking of which u wer talking about meeting ppl who can help in anyway they can in the military that's a good advice but have had my share of disapproval form ppl first it was in 2015 wen i wanted to seek out the commander in charge of bukavu baraks in kano then I was a corp member a recruit advised me against it. Second I approached a woman elderly in an open market that's just for general Job the woman turned me down telling me she did not know me and can nver render any assistance for me so on the matter I called my mum to speak to the woman but to my surprise my mum came to the scene I was so surprised she kneeled for the woman still she said she can't vouch for me in front of her pears that day I felt for my mum seriously. Lastly I approached a man elderly also at first he was very direct and seem like someone that will help he told me he work with EFCC and he asked for my discipline and I told him Geography he was happy and told me he will help me wen the time for recruitment is on i thought he was bluffing based on my past experiences but to my surprise immediately the recruitment started he called to inform me. Later the second day I called him to know how things will be going down but he missed my calls the second day then the third for like 2 week nothing so I tried with other line immediately he picked and responded well but immediately he knew I was the one he fumed at me and I was like sir u said I should call b4 I could say sir he went off line and immediately I deleted his number knowing I tried my best on that. So now I don't know if what u say about help is Tru u can check my profile have went as far as posting and seeking for help online and have tried several means to tell u my determination but yet nothing to now tell u the truth I don't know if u can link me with someone that know someone that know someone that will help me to make first 30 I will be forever grateful. Which state are you? |
