thanks alot for the reply sir. to begin with i will be 27 by june this year and will.be done with my nysc by april. currently i dont have any certification but i had ICAN in mind but i know it takes time to complete that course and thats why am asking this question because i heard certification is important or rather an added advantage for those applying dssc. is thier anything you can add on your previous advice given the added info i provided?

Guy don't be angry, I don't have energy for fight, you SSC guys have lots and lots of it.
We DSSC don't have that strength. let me inform you, in the end you will get 1star after 9months and we 2star after 6months.

I wonder why army is always harsh to cadet officers, I don't see the rationale behind expelling cadets that have undergone training and at the end you expel them for flimsy excuses.
I'm saying this because the last SSC guys that passed out some where expelled because they went home after training, they've finished there training and was idling away in the academy so some went home thinking they are done with them all of a sudden one Oga just show up and counted people present, the once that went home where told not to return. though I don't know if they where later forgiven. If not those guys will become potential daredevil armed robbers na, since them don receive military training.

Btw i'm thinking about what airforce are even doing in this country and i think they have the least power compared to navy and army

1) I saw a video of a Nigerian war tank totally destroyed in Bama by terrorist and all personnel on board killed. How is this possible because BH guys do not have any special weapon that can totally destroy a battle tank apart from IEDs and RPGs which I believe can't do that much damage to a tank so how do this terrorist manage to deal such a heavy blow and which kind of armament can carryout such.
2)Do all SSC and Regulars train as special forces?
3)One of my secondary school classmates a member of 62RC has Amphibious, Special forces, scorpion and Eagle tag emblazoned on his uniform, what do they represent especially that eagles they paste near their breast pocket.
4)Do SSC guys get deployed to warzone after POP?
5)What's the criteria for going for peace keeping mission.

I think its possible, General abdulsalam was seconded to the Army from the air force. although that was in the old sha, don't know about now.

I will put 26 as my age when the form is out.
finished service in November 2015 been in and out of two jobs. now, no job. 26 it is SSC is more sure than DSSC
