Upon conducting a thorough investigation into the controversy surrounding the dress code issue at Adamawa State College of Nursing and Midwifery in Yola, it becomes evident that there is more to the situation than initially reported. Claims that Dr. Lami Aminu, the Provost of the institution, is targeting Muslim students and Islam are based on misinformation and may be a deliberate attempt to tarnish her reputation.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria NMCN is the sole governing body that regulates all cadres of nurses and midwives in Nigeria. It was established by government decree in 1979, and re-established as a parastatal by the government of Nigeria by Act Cap. No 143 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
The Council maintains standards of practice, and enforces discipline and dress code within the Nigerian nursing profession. It also accredits education in nursing and midwifery, awarding certificates in Nursing and Midwifery as registered Nurse(RN or RM) after a three years of successful completion of programme.
There is no doubt that since she came on board as the provost,DR lami Aminu has performed tremendously well, said the Registrar general of the Council, her institution council exams has elevated to 98% which made the institution as top notch across the country.

Evidence suggests that the controversy stems from a misunderstanding regarding the color of the khimar worn by Muslim female students. Dr. Aminu's stance on the issue appears to be based on the uniform dress code established by the college for all students, regardless of their religious affiliation. The college management had held discussions with various Muslim students' unions to find a suitable solution that respects both religious practices and the institution's academic standards.

Dr. Lami Aminu's commitment to academic excellence and fairness is highlighted by her willingness to engage with representatives of different groups to address the concerns raised. Her insistence on maintaining uniform standards for all students reflects her dedication to upholding the integrity of the institution.

It is important to recognize that baseless allegations, fueled by misinformation or personal agendas, can have a detrimental impact on the reputation of individuals like Dr. Aminu. As this investigation reveals, Dr. Aminu's actions are not aimed at targeting any specific religious group, but rather at fostering an environment of inclusivity and academic achievement.
In conclusion, the claims against Dr. Lami Aminu, the Provost of Adamawa State College of Nursing and Midwifery, appear to be unfounded and misleading. Her commitment to upholding uniform standards and fostering a positive learning environment remains evident, and it is crucial to consider the full context before passing judgment based on one-sided narratives.

I have a Proposal for Oyo State being a bonafide son of the Land. Please who can recommend or suggest how to get an audience with the governor himself.

Depends on your location, but in a good commercial local, a hotel or short let apartments is more likely to bring in ROI than the petrol station.
