I use the KJV mainly and NLT, MSG or TPT besides it for some things I don't understand. At times, I first read the KJV, then read the same thing with NLT, MSG or TPT. It makes understanding a whole lot easier.

I prefer the new king James version. . .

First off.....I am not here to defend the bible as a PURE BOOK THAT HAS NO SEX IN IT. It would be crap to say so.

Second...here is the offending verse. Genesis 38 v 9
