Well, those who came after Ironsi cancelled the 4 Regions Nigeria had, took away resource control, transferred all resources to federal government control, created 36 states, and brought us to where we are today

Nigeria has always been controlled from a centre, even in colonial times. That centre was Lagos

Ironsi dud not abolish Regions, he did not take resource control away

So when people start making excuses for Gowon who came in and abolished all four Regions, took resource control away, I wonder if these people are sane

Did Gowon come in to be worse than Ironsi? If thats what Gowon came in to be, then Ironsi deserves far more praise than Gowon who was worse

Either way, Gowon should apologise for abolishing the 4 Regions Nigeria had, some of which were even older than himself
