Azazyel: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 on the Poco x7pro plays COD flawlessly. That chipset beats several snapdragon chipsets even the recent ones and uses them to wipe the floor. MediaTek chipsets are now very much advanced and as at last year the MTK Dimensity 9400 was the most powerful chipset in the world. I don't know if it still remains the title now. Try and read more and do more comparison btw snapdragon chipsets and MTK Dimensity chips The Snapdragon 8 Elite is still the best. Followed by the 9400+ and the Xiaomi Orion X1 |

Anyone that has used the legendary redmi note 10 pro shouldn't be talking about redmi note series anymore. At all. The Note series is just living it's name nothing much is happening here everything is focused on the pro plus |

Could be hardware, software, its really hard to tell. Even A series is not excluded. I have people in the same space with similar issues. |

What can I do. I hope it will not break if I install the ROM through miflash tool Did the seller give you a reason for selling? |

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 2:51pm On Jun 28, 2025 |
TheCeasar: 4+2 gb ram, that's approximately 6 gb ram You have 4GB Ram. Extended RAM is a gimmick. When that noise of extended RAM Started in 2021 we said it here. I will even advise you turn off the extended RAM feature. If your Storage speed is lower than your RAM speed the phone will pick the lower limit to run your phone. |

TheCeasar: Good evening everyone, I'm having issue on my Redmi note 11. My apps always refresh/restart whenever I open another.
For example yesterday when I tried to logging to my binance, they sent me an email so before I clicked on the Gmail and come back to binance again, the app closes,
Even on Twitter, I can't even use grok to upload a photo because it closes and restart.
Please what can I do to stop the issue? RAM Size? |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:27am On Jun 28, 2025 |
Kennyflyair: This is the one thing I hate about redmi devices. The ram management is somewhat aggressive. Imagine connecting to a VPN for critical stuff and the stuff disconnects after 5 to 10 minutes. It's not that I have other heavy stuff running in the background o, it just kills it. And sadly, I don't think there's anything you can do to resolve it. At this point, I'm only a redmi user cos of their solid hardware. I personally feel their software is shi+
I've used my ridiculous Tecno tablet with even less ram for the same Vpn app and it never closes until I disconnect it myself. Even if I leave it overnight. And that's a 2gb ram phone with one shitty processor while the 14c is 4gb ram with "memory expansion" The minimum RAM configuration you need today for multitasking is 6GB |

I believe the major issues with the new updates on Nairaland is posting in the wrong sections especially adverts.
So one suggestion it will take a while getting used to is to create a dedicated advertisement thread in the technology market section and people can refer people there from time to time when they need to make purchases or compare prices while this bread remains strictly for discussions, trouble shooting and knowledge sharing.
The downsides are the stress referencing two threads and other people posting adverts not Solar related. |

micxwell: Hello bro, how was work today?
Pls, for a budget of 500k is the Redmi Pad Pro 5g a good buy? Or there are better options.
Use case: 1) Content consumption
2) Online/Virtual classes and meetings.
3) Bigger screen to read my PDF materials, DWG files from AutoCAD and will definitely include light multitasking.
4) An extension for my laptop screen.
5) And finally an alternative to my laptop for quick creation and editing of excel/word/powerpoint docs on the go. It should do almost all of the above. But I am skeptical about number 4. You can read the reviews and make a final decision. |
