EASYLIFE4US: So na to avoid Poco series entirely be dat ooo That is not what we are saying. Not everyone games and sometimes our tropical temperature is also a factor. And not all Poco phones heat up like the F6. I Think the F6 Pro does a better Job at thermal control. |

EASYLIFE4US: Please, I want to acquire Poco f6( 5g 12/256), please advise me on whether to go ahead based on your experience with it. Processing great. Battery life I can't complain. Camera is just fair(It is not it's strong point) Charging is very fast. One caveat though is when gaming because the phone pulls a lot of power from it's processor and GPU it tends to heat a bit. |

Entanglement: at that one 100k different I won't waste my time on Poco f7 ultra! Mind you the Xiaomi 15 comes with well equipped camera and the over OEM built is flagship!
No reasonable person will go for the Poco f7 ultra over Xiaomi 15 at this price range Exactly. |

Entanglement: but the Xiaomi 15 is more expensive than f7 pro!
Xiaomi series are more on flagship end than Poco and and redmi The initial conversation was on Poco F7 Ultra in comparison with Xiaomi 15 and let me bust your bubbles the difference in pricing between a brand new F7 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 is 100k ISH. At that close margin tell me how the F7 Ultra is a reasonable purchase over the Xiaomi 15. NB: The beginning of this back and forth is when someone said budget is not a problem when asking for the best Poco device. |

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 5:10am On May 14, 2025 |
Chimatesky64: my f7 pro battery last longer than my previous f6 battery. F7 Pro has a 6000mah battery so it is expected but I am telling you the Xiaomi 15 with 5400mah outlasts your F7 Pro |

Ekiseme: Good day, please i have something to ask, can redmi note 14 pro plus Chinese model be used here ? And between that redmi note 14 pro plus and redmi turbo 4 pro, which one is better ? Stick to Global Versions. Xiaomi is stricter with bootloader unlocks now aside the 4G bands deficiencies. And the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is a better device asides cameras maybe and should be launched globally as the Poco F7 hopefully. |

Azazyel: They are not far apart. Dimensity 8400u would perform better but not by a landslide. I would also compare other features like AI, camera, battery, build e.t.c. the results would speak for themselves and show the strengths and weaknesses of each device 15% difference |

Azazyel: Okay I'll go check out the latest price. Poco x7pro is a great device. Are you sure there is no competitor within the price range that offers something like this or better? Cos I can see a Tecno Camon 40 premier with Dimensity 8350. I'll compare both and draw my conclusions after handling next week Check Macbeyland and Noobody listings on the thread store and Jboixxx too. |

jonescosmos: It is what it is bro, there is a gang of people on this thread that are hell bent on reporting you and your post once it goes contrary to their opinions or exposes their false claims. They did it to me severally and I have decided to be just a reader on this thread after the event of three weeks ago when I posted a link to where people can verify Who is Who in Deye Distributorship Categories. I was banned for three days straight and investigations revealed that my posts were being mass reported.
I have also decided to post adverts when I have any, because it seems that's the only posts that doesn't get reported here. Criticisms and counter opinions lands you in the banning basket.
So if anyone finds him or herself in that situation, please don't take it seriously, don't take it personal. Just move on with more productive activities elsewhere.
Cheers ! If your posts are deleted instantaneously it is the spambot. It is currently on steroids. |

donforeign: . I have been using Redmi Note 11 pro +, but the phone fell, and the screen got damaged. I already ordered the screen and back cover from Aliexpress, but once I fix it, I want to transfer my files to a better phone and that is why i want to spoil myself with a better upgrade. I have been a Xiaomi fanboy and a big fan of the second space function in xiaomi because that shit saved me a million times. That Xiaomi 15 ultra is not bad at all and That Vivo is mad, I think it has the best camera now. somebody say s25 ultra, i confuse sha lol. thanks for all you do for this thread genuis43. The Vivo and Xiaomi currently has one of the best camera systems closely followed by the Oppo. The Vivo has the best Ultra wide sensor of the three. But the question is how many people uses that sensor apart from camera enthusiasts. I get the S25U sentiments. It is a very balanced phone. |

Azazyel: Allow the man choose. Just suggest to him. Mi15 seems to do better battery optimization but there are reports of overheating that's why I didn't bring it up initially. Poco F7pro and ultra are solid enough for different uses. If he wants to get Mi 15 or 14, I don't have any problem with it. I can only suggest Xiaomi 15 has no overheating issues sir. A friend uses it. If you had said Xiaomi 15 Ultra I will say yes. Even my Poco F6 heats way more than the 15. Poco F series packs power with poor cooling systems compared to Xiaomi series. So when he says budget is not an issue why limit him to the Poco series? |

Azazyel: If he trusts Poco more based on personal experience, I believe he can continue with Poco. The F7ultra uses the snapdragon 8 elite. F7pro uses snapdragon 8 gen 3. The gap between them and the Mi series have become almost unnoticeable. Mi 15 triumphs in display and camera which aren't top of his priority list. Poco F7 pro and ultra offer great displays and cameras too. He would enjoy flagship grade performance with them. I noticed he mentioned Poco and that means he loves the series. Xiaomi 15 has better battery performance than those devices. Same with its predecessor Xiaomi 14. Go and check the reviews. I emphasized on that. I wonder why you are ommiting it. I use Poco F6 and trust me the battery optimisation is beneath the mi series. |

babatees: my emphasis is basicly on ba3 life and processor speed not fancy super expensive phone presently am using Poco4 and i enjoyed the ba3 life fro the last 4yrs but its beginning to dwindle; reason for my request Those two phones aside the 14 that is a generation older have better battery life. You need to research and stop looking at battery size on paper. Xiaomi 15 and 14 have he most optimised power performance of any Xiaomi phone made recently. Xiaomi 15 uses the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite so what do you want to say about processor or don't you know that Xiaomi 15 and 14 are in the flagship department and the Poco F7 Ultra and Pro are below them? |

omotolsy: You see that 1000mah they want to cut down ehnnnnn i need it. I actually checked my sim is on MTN Band 3 where i reside and the Chinese variant supports Band 3. I did some research on chinese and global devices and discovered that global devices are manufactured with some percentages less. You will think that band 3 is sufficient until when you are in dire need of network. I have been there before and I am never going back because of big battery. |

omotolsy: Hmmmm. Thank you. You are right, camera & battery would take the hit. I always say the Chinese devices(roms) are always better. Do you think one would really feel the network band issues? It has even been confirmed only the battery will be reduced to 6500mah every other spec remains the same with the Turbo 4 Pro |

omotolsy: Okay cool then i also read the ring lights will be missing in the F7 Those are still hearsays. From Xiaomi's design language from the Redmi Turbo 4 that became Poco X7 Pro to get F series the difference has mostly been battery size. So until the release we have to wait and see. I am pretty sure global variants won't get that battery size as they are limiting them to Asia Region for now. But most other things especially SOC is usually the same. Another thing maybe the choice of camera sensor. |
Technology Market › Re: The Xiaomi Thread Store by genius43(m): 5:53am On Apr 30, 2025 |
omotolsy: There are issues i discovered already. Its going to be called the poco f7 and it will cone with a lesser processor and battery. I honestly always prefer a chinese rom to a global because chinese phones are more quality than the provided as global. The only issue with chinese is the network band. Honestly if there is a work around i will proceed to buy the Chinese variant right now. It will still come with an 8s Gen 4. The F6 came with 8s Gen 3. The battery will be reduced as seen in other global models but processor won't change |
