Serendipity2023: I want to buy a phone for my sister.
Camera should be sharp
I am considering Redmi Note 13 or Redmi Note 14-- 8/128 for any.
I have seen bad reviews like sim connectivity issues, bad camera, battery draining fast etc on both devices.
Are these isolated cases?
Should I choose Infinix or Samsung A series instead?
I have a budget of 200-270k.
Thanks No reasonable A series fits your budget |

Still isolated and something a software update can fix. If it was wide spread. This thread would have been full with complaints. But do you. I use neither of both phones you are after |

Serendipity2023: please from your experience, are there really good reviews about Redmi note 14?
I am considering getting 2 for my sisters My experience and reviews. I don't follow. Are they good devices yes for their price. Could they have done better yes. Stop making 4G variants. 4G processors have been stuck in growth for almost 4 years now. |

Mawiey: This is a very delusional post If realme is really that low, why are they beating redmi in sales?? Are you saying customers don't know what they want and what they're spending their money on?? Beating Redmi in which sales? You are even more delusional. Xiaomi is Number 2 currently in Nigeria. https://www.nairaland.com/8421675/top-5-smartphone-brands-boughtWhere is Realme? |

MrSuama: Às I deh like this, I done over confuse. I actually fell in love with Redmi Note 12, but couldn't get hold of one, then I stumbled upon Poco m5 and I got one but ended up giving my wife without even using it. Now, having dug deeper, I have found out that Poco m5 has a betterAntutu score than most latest phones. I wanted getting another Poco M5 but only yellow colour was available.
House, where can I get a brand new Poco M5 6/128? Black or Green?
House, is Redmi note 13 4G and upgrade to Poco M5?
I need una candid advice Which most latest phones does the M5 with Helio G99 have better AnTuTu score than? Well I will pick the RN13 4G If I was to pick between the both. Better display, better cameras, UD finger print, faster charging. |

Shelley100: I don't know why the phone is showing no service, i have tried both airtel and glo SIM.
Though I have been able to log into my gmail with the phone, and open NL, but the apps have been trying to download on playstore for the past 30min just keep saying pending.
I was wondering if it's the no service that affects it. Force restart your device and see if it changes. |

Shelley100: Good afternoon. I just bought the redmi Note 14 today. Please is there anything I need to do to enjoy the phone better, and where can I get it gcam GCam of today isn't like how it was in those days o. Go and look for Redmi Note 14 photography channel on Telegram if any. Also as a former Xiaomi user I don't expect questions like "is there anything I need to do to enjoy the phone better" |

And be careful not to buy a CN Version passed as Global. The safest bet is to follow who knows road. Noobody dey for you. |

Heathen: I have a budget of 300k, what is the best Xiaomi phone i can afford with that? If you are talking brand new it is a Redmi Note 4G device. If you increase your budget by 100k look at the Poco X series you will get more value there |

Imagine Redmi note 9s that was sold for around 85k then, with this current exchange rate na over 270k. How the Naira has fallen. Na here people use 90k buy Poco F1 with Snapdragon 845 that year. |

° Brodaman, Stop it, don't compare a near flagship phone with a high midrange phone. When you see the name Xiaomi alone in the product name, be assured of flagship spec, redmi is midrange. Don't let price fool you. ° ***Jarchi***
It is that price deception someone will use to be comparing Redmi Note 14 Pro plus and Poco X7 Pro or Poco F7 Pro |

damble: Thanks boss. Here is xiaomi response to my mail when I complained about how their service center here in Abuja is handling the issue.
It is stated on the mail their service centers only handle repairs that I should contact the reseller. The seller too is referring me back to the care center. What is my last option please?
Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission?
Thanks I really don't feel the battery is bad but to ask some few questions. 1. Do you unplug your device immediately it gets to 100% 2. What is your SOT(Screen on Time) at 20%. These are some data you need to collate for us to pass a verdict. I have seen were batteries we drain faster for the first 10% and stabilise from below 90% because it may have not really reached a full charge state. |

bioluwatinfe: You can go for realme Note50. It’s doesn’t lag or hang and has a considerable good battery capacity. Perfect for daily activities that are not heavy duty Realme marketer I sight you. What daily driver will the Unisoc Tiger T612 handle with today's heavy applications? WhatsApp is heavy before you mention it. The battery is same as every other smartphone there so not a selling point. |

Shelley100: Good morning. Please can you recommend a budget phone for me. My budget is 120-130k. I was contemplating between realme note50 and redmi 14C as they both seems to be within my range.
I presently use redmi note 8, but it hangs a lot this days. Camera isn't that important. Just something I can browse without hanging and an ok battery If you are coming from a Note the bare minimum is to remain with a Redmi Note. The realme Note is an entry level device forget the Note branding. If you are forced to choose between both then the Redmi 14c. A better CPU even they are both 12nm processors, a bigger battery and faster charging, slightly better connectivity. The display is at least protected with Corning Gorilla Glas 3. But my honest advice is save up and get a Redmi Note 13 or 14. |

damble: @ engineers @ knowledgeable people on this forum...
I bought redmi 14c last week and realized from day one that as soon as I unplug the phone, 1% of the battery must be reduced...
And every 4 minutes of usage, 1% of the phone's battery must drain/reduce....
I lodged complaint at xiaomi's care center. They told me that it is normal after much arguments I was asked to register the phone that a software would be installed on it to stop the battery drainage....
I returned to the care center yesterday to find out the problem has not been solved....
My question is this, is it normal for a brand new phone's battery to be draining fast like this? EVERY 4 MIN 1% MUST GO
Thanks Have you updated your phone since you bought it? |
