I don't like the chipset of Redmi 10. You did'nt give me reasons why that problem happens, and possible ways to avoid it

How would I know the reasons? You guys ask too much of me.

The only way to certainly avoid it is not to buy the phone in the first place.

The other way is to update your phone immediately you buy.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Chipsets on the Redmi 10 except you are into Modding.

The refresh rate on the Redmi 10 is a plus if you have used a phone with High refresh rate you will understand.

Before you mention battery on the Redmi 9t that is all it has.

U1:
Please I need your opinion or anyone else's.

I noticed that AliExpress prices are displayed in Naira. Years ago it used to be in USD.

Do you have an idea of what exchange rate they are using? From your response, it appears it is lower than that of a bank.

And is it possible to change the currency to USD on the website?

Thanks in anticipation.

No matter the currency conversion you will be charged in USD.

Also the USD equivalent is always shown alongside the Naira so no need to change anything as seen below.
What you is get the total order(Item + shipping fee if any) dollar rate and multiply with the exchange rate of the institution you would be using to make payments.

AliExpress uses the same Conversion which Google uses, which is a misrepresentation of our reality.

WycliffeSMB:
I am becoming very worried and disturbed with the many reports of REDMI 9T refusing to power On when turned off. I intend to to buy same phone soon(that's the one I can afford now), but am scared cos I don't wanna encounter that problem. Pls what is the cause, and is it still wise to go ahead with my plan?

Buy the Redmi 10 that was just released if you are scared.

arleck:
It expensive?? LOL! Not for me.... I'm getting mi11 ultra for myself as a birthday gift this month end

It is o. Happy birthday in advance.

arleck:
Do you sell xiaomi phones?
Price for mi11 and mi11 ultra and I hope the mi11 isn't the mini

I don't sell phones. But I can sell my knowledge to you sha. It is expensive though.

Mi 11 - a phone with a 6.81" QHD display is certainly not a Mini.

It just lacks the superior imaging of the Ultra as well as Slower Charging.

As for Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 you can inquire from Macbeyland and Scotweezy.(Search their profiles and get their contacts)

absky5:
oh. Do I still need to do that??

Nope

Shot on RN10 Pro. No Edits.

As usual Nairaland Algo. Have reduced quality drastically.

bbeckky:
ok bro, thanks but pls hiw good is the camera for the purpose? If i can up it to like 200k what better camera phone can i get pls

The cameras are okay for you. At 200k na just performance upgrades not Camera. If you are so interested in camera get a Mi 10T Pro at 260k ish or the Mi 11 at over 300k or the highest of the highest Mi 11 Ultra at around 500k+

bbeckky:
About 160/170k

Your budget as it is can only get you a Mi 11 lite 4G and Redmi Note 10 Pro

absky5:
I had to format my phone this morning and the mi music app is now showing on the notification. Na my files pain me sha

You could have simply downloaded the full ROM and reinstall

bbeckky:
Good morning house, pls who knows any trusted seller on Aliexpress that one can buy a very good xiaomi phone from and like how much will I likely pay at Ikeja post office to get it. Pls, which xiaomi phone would you recommend for products photography. I am buying it for my business plsssss. Thanks in advance

Buy your phone locally. Sheet you don't mind paying on AliExpress at black market exchange rates.

If you seek advice always state your budget. We are not magicians to know the state of your wallet.

Mustiboy:
How did you get OTG to work on your phone?

I've tried it on three different devices (RN10P, RN9S, R9), but it's not working on any.

I read it's an issue with MIUI, so is there any workaround?

I use RN10 Pro, the only thing it doesn't read is NTFS.

As for RN9s, my bro own one and it even reads and write from NTFS. and he uses MIUI.

I don't know how it is a MIUI issue.

Cosmicstranger:

Good evening house! Please i need your help. A friend sent me a used Asus laptop from the US through EMS and on the 16th day of September 2021 i got a call from a guy that works at the post office in ABA informing me that i should come and pick up my parcel and also that custom billed me #18,000, then few hours later that same day i got another call from the same Post office this time the caller said he's the manager for EMS then he went ahead to ask me if I had received a call earlier and i said yes and the he said what did the person tell me, i told him the first caller said that my parcel is in their post office that i should come and collect it and also that custom billed me #18,000. Then the EMS manager now told me to disregard the previous caller, that the #18,000 is their own courier company service money, that custom billed me #54,000 he then went further to say that when I come to the post office he will give me the phone to speak with custom agent from Lagos.

I smell foul Play. I haven't gone there yet because I have being terribly sick but i intend to go there this week and I need your advice on how best to go about this.

What and what should I look at for to make sure the said EMS manager is not trying to extort money from me??

What does a custom bill looks like?

Please i will be very grateful if you all can assist me in any little way you can??

I can barely afford to pay the #18,000 not to talk of an additional #54,000.

Thanks i look forward to your responses.

Next time if your friend wants to send you something, look for third party shippers or look for someone travelling down to Nigeria.

Customs don't care if it is used but I don't get separate customs duties.

absky5:
it was doing like that too before I update the music app like weeks ago and it just didn't come up at all and I thought this new miui will fix it.... Same thing with others third party apps

I am not experiencing it for now and I don't use Mi Music.

absky5:
is your music player now showing in the notification?

That issue was once a while for me. All I do is pause and play the music and it comes back.

But for now haven't noticed the issue.

Redmi note 10 4/6gb for sale...
No cracks on the screen and in good condition..
I wanna add money to buy the new redmi 10 is the reason I'm selling..

This is a very unwise decision that you will regret real soon.

You can never compare an ordinary Redmi series to a Note especially one released in the same year.

i have kuda,can it go

Kuda bank don't do international transactions.

Barter by flutterwave is what you need.

seankafor:
so what should i do now

Virtual cards at the mercy of exchange rate. Be prepared to pay Black market money.

princeSammyz:
I actually updated it. The crash surprise me. It was rebooting when I connected the charger. Then e no come on again. I just hope my warranty still covers because i don give one guy check am to no avail

You shouldn't have given anyone to open it. That voids your warranty.

Hello guys,is the new redmi note 8 like the last one?,I just sold my phone so I'm planning of getting another one

It won't be new if it is exactly like the other one.

But let me save you the stress. The only difference about from the Android OS out of the box is that the SD 665 is replaced by the Mediatek G85 used in the Redmi Note 9.

Good luck

Evil Biggie.
